I have been a Christian for 8 years...do my daily Bible readings every day right after I get up & spend prayer time afterwards.  Also pray during the day & before bedtime.  To keep this short, a family member "borrowed" a large sum of money that will never be repayed which has put my wife & I in a terrible financial jam...Lose the house kind of jam!  I have been praying profusely for many months for help in this area & it's as if my prayers are not going beyond the ceiling.  The pressure from our finances is getting unbearable & I don't know where to turn.  Please pray with me that God would hear my plea.  Thank You.

I don't know where to turn

Beloved...
Turn to God. He hears and has heard every prayer you've prayed. God tells us that IF we would only really focus upon seeking His face and knowing His will and character, then all else will be given to us! It's true. It's especially important that we stand fast in Christ when the going gets tough. Also, we must remember that sometimes God keeps us desparate... that's when we REALLY seek Him... and sometimes that's the only way He gets glory and honor from our lives.

O Lord, Abba... I ask You to hear and respond to this saint's cries. Be the way-maker for this christian family. Show Your power and love to this family in all things and ways. Bless and annoint them to victory in Christ. Let their testimony bring many to the cross. Do this soon, Lord... today!? Thanks Lord, for the good stuff that's coming... in Jesus' name, amen

Thank you for the wonderful encouragement...I agree with your assessment of the situation.  God IS testing my resolve & when I posted this request, I must admit my resolve was not the best.  However, even though the problem still exists, my Faith in God bringing me through this time is higher than ever.  God has a plan for me & I'm asking Him daily to show me that plan!  Thanx, again, for the prayers & support.  God Bless.  Larry

Praying for you brother.

He most surely hears your prayers! In fact, He knew beforehand what situation you'd be in and it is the Holy spirit who speaks your prayers. Do not doubt.

Have faith brother, "Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see." Hebrews 11:1
