PASTOR DAN IS LEAVING

I go to a small church here in Seattle, its called Living Way Forsquare, i've been comming here for about a year now. this is my first and home church, i really love it here. but on 4th of July we all got some really shocking news that our pastor has been called back to California to pastor a broken church in LaVern, CA. ofcourse this is all very upsetting for us, especially me because i have been over at his place every Wednsday and was being Descipled by his wife Debra. im gonna miss them a lot. I will see them both for the last time when by best friend Mel gets married. so i'll see them both on that day but then after that their'r not comming back. my prayer is that God will use him tremendusly in California, and in the meantime please pray for our associate pastor, Pastor Mike he is doing what he calls "circleing the wagons" pretty much shielding the body of Christ so we wont break apart. i have a good feeling that we are going to survive because we are a strong body of believers and all. but yeah, Pastor Dan's last day is this Sunday.

Having just lost our own Pastor I can understand your reaction to your Pastor leaving. We MUST remember that church is all about God & Jesus, not about us! God is forever... we are temporary (Pastors too).

O Abba... it's so hard to lose a real Christian friend... and even more so a Pastor. Bless this Pastor as he goes forth in Your will to shore up that broken church. You send him because he is the right man for the job You need done.
Bless the church he is leaving. Send them a mighty and annointed replacement. Let this be a time of holy transformation and growth for this Seattle church. Give them extra insight and strength in this changing of the guard. Support and promote right Christian attitudes here. Show all the earth that we praise no one but You, that only You are unchanging... in time, place and actions. Thank You for the wonderful times You allowed them to be together at Foursquare. You know best Lord... we thank You again and ask continued blessing come to and from this church and it's members. In Christ jesus, amen
