Are the differences between Christians of peripheral interest? Is this fighting among ourselves a great distraction from the work of the kingdom?
The debate between two groups here, has sought to show the disharmony - we are actually concerned with issues affecting the fundamental truths of Christianity. The motivation for writing is not to aggravate division, but to warn Christian brothers and sisters of the dangers of imbibing an ungodly worldview. It is written with the conviction that the teaching of theistic evolution weakens Christians and makes them liable to stumble.
The issues addressed here are serious: in different ways they affect most people, Christian leaders, teachers, parents and students. There can only be one way forward: a resolution to hear God speaking - through the Scriptures and in dependence on our teacher, the Holy Spirit.

Everyone look what the Bible says..........
1 John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another.

Okay I have said my say on the bickering going on lately. Why can't we except one another as brothers and sisters in Christ?

Some are trying, DW. It is my prayer, also.

Sadly, many need a church organization to listen to and tell them what God is saying. God's Spirit and the Spirit revealed word is not enough for them. Thus the differences.  Cry

"I have said my say"

It was a good say. Thanks.  Smiley

ollie

you say its sad.

i say its great that one gets up every day and brings thier children to a church building and has their family listen to the word of god.

what better way to start the day , and to teach your children.

your answer is probebly do it your self.

So I take it you don't like my post sincereheart, I'm sorry if you don't agree with my point of view. I have not posted any names, or groups. Because I don't want everyone bickering.
Everyone needs to look inside of themselves, and look at the damage that was done.

No, I agreed with it. So much damage is done by professing Christians...hence, the sign. And I think it's sad. And I know I'm just as guilty. Cry

This is one of the reasons I stayed out of the mess. Sorry, I misunderstood your sign. Sad
