Today I walked the sands of my heart's shore
And as I moved the tide of my past griefs broke
beneath my feet;
I wept, for times long past and laughter lost in stormy seas.
Then looking up, I saw the Dove of Peace fly over me
And in the sunlight I could see
White sails and calmer seas ahead of me.
