This is an odd request, but I would appreciate prayers on my discharge from the army.
I am presently trying to be seperated from the army for personal reasons.
Thank you.

Mmmm, *which* army--the Lord's army, or the U.S. Army?

I'm leaning toward the latter.
Praying for God's will in this matter, Dustcry.

Hi
That sure is an odd request; from that, I don't really know what situation you're in. But...you can believe that God knows. He knows your every feeling, thought, and perhaps...he may even have put you in this situation in the first place so you'll know Him better.
I will pray that God will help you.

Lord, make a way for this, Your child. Bless DC in his dealings with the government and all it's buracracy. Grant DC favor with every person he must see or interact with, that they would be helpfull and show him all he needs to do. In Christ Jesus. amen

Thank you all.
The basic issue is that I need out of the army because of issues that it brings up mentally from the past for me, as well as, it's extremely taxing on my wife and myself.
We are able to hold together because we love eachother dearly, and we're not fighting or threatened by seperation or anything to that degree...it is simply painfull for both of us to constantly be seperated by my duties while we both deal with our own trials with very limited support from eachother because of the distance (physically) between us.
I'm in Korea, and she's back home in Alaska.
I need out, and I need to get back to my wife.
We were never meant to be apart in this manner.
The only reason I can say that God has put me here was so that my wife and I could see just how much we love eachother and to let our commitment to eachother grow so much stronger than any person on earth could ever imagine possible.
But now...it's time that I return ... for more reasons than our love and relationship...back home.

I have a cousin going thru a similar problem. The Recruiter told him not to tell the Doctors he had asthma. And he didn't. Now they are trying to kick him out without benefits. I will pray for you.

It's not easy, dc. It's hard on two being separated like that. I think few couples are prepared for the separation. I've just recently been watching the old 1943 movie, "Stage Door Canteen", about a last 24-hour liberty in NYC, for a host of troops from all branches, before embarking across the Atlantic. The hosts/hostesses, many actors/actresses from that day, under strict rules how to behave, there at the USO, to show the boys a good evening. Some of them wanting to get married right then. A lot of sadness, hardship. I've been watching it with someone from that era, so they're able to fill in lots of details--the music that was popular then(Kate ? singing the Lord's Prayer...and everyone in the auditorium stands for it), names, memories, troop trains filled to the hilt with troops going every which way, last-minute weddings, and then the boys were gone... A massive, united effort. And in 1943 people were scared silly we were going to lose--a "dark dread" I've heard it described as. And the divorce rate was sky high.
