Hi all...

I would just like to ask for prayers for my sister...her husband passed last Sunday morning.  He was 36, she is 31.  They are spreading his ashes today.
Please also keep his family and friends in prayer.  It's been hard all around.

Thanks so much and God bless...

There is always mourning after the death of a loved one but Jesus said

"Blessed are those who mourn,
for they will be comforted."

matt 5:4

The good thing to know is her husband is in heaven.

Abba... bring Your peace and solace here. Bring Your love in great waves to wash away the hurts... in Christ Jesus, amen

God uses the heartbreaks in our lives to make us stronger, to purify us; praying for your sister (and family), that they will be strengthened and comforted, and will grow strong instead of bitter.
Was the husband's death sudden, and is he saved?

Yes...his death was sudden, he committed suicide...we're waiting on the autopsy reports.
I know he believed in God, but he was angry w/ Him b/c of his father's, brother's, step brother's and friends deaths.  I talked to him a bit about our Lord and Saviour and how we just had to accept Jesus...I'm hoping he did do that...can't and don't know what was in his heart between himself and our Lord when all this happened.  I pray to God that he DID indeed, but I just can't say for sure.

Praying for your sister and her extended family!! It is so sad when someone feels that life is so 'horrible' that they must kill themself! My mom knows a lady whose Son-In-Law attempted suicide on Mother's Day!! He hanged himself in his living room!! His wife and 6 y/o daughter found him hanging, and the mom cut the rope and he was STILL ALIVE!!! I don't know if he is alright at this point, but VERY SAD!!!

TOUGH TIMES NEVER LAST BUT TOUGH PEOPLE DO!!!

Oh, how terrible! Think of the memories that little girl will have to carry with her as she grows up!
