I am just about to start reading CS Lewis' science fiction trilogy (sometimes called his cosmic trilogy) which includes the following three books.

1. Out of the Silent Planet
2. Perelandra
3. That Hideous Strength

I think it examines the idea of a planet where the inhabitants were born without original sin.

I have heard good things about the series but have not even started yet so will have to let you know how it goes.

Oooh..

I think you'll like them. Not as entertaining as Narnia, but enjoyable and interesting for the themes they explore. I'd say more, but don't want to spoil anything.

Let me know your thoughts.

Perelandra is my favorite one of the 3. Good books, interesting ideas. Enjoy.

Try reading "Till We Have Faces" By C.S. Lewis.

It's a great re-telling of a Greek myth!

I thought the sci-fi series was good. Very different world view from the ususl sci-fi. Too bad it wasn't written more recently, because it is a bit dated. Otherwise a fine series.

I enjoyed the second book, but didn't get around to reading the others...
