My sister is going in for surgery tomorrow (Friday 3-19) It is expected to be a 3-4 hour long operation. It is on her back. This is something like her 17th operation. So she is used to the whole thing but it is still scary for her and those around that love her. She is also a believer. Please pray that she stays calm and everything goes along as expected.

Thank you twin_trip_mommy

She had to be there at 6 this morning

Operation (on the back) was expected to take less than 6 hours.

I have not heard word yet on how things have gone.

She expects to be in the hospital for 4-7 days and out of commission for a few months.

Please pray that everything went well and that I will hear something soon.

Oh!  Cry 17 (or 18?) operations! I can't imagine! She must have such pain! Praying for her safety and recovery!

I just spoke to her. She is doing well.

She said she could feel the prayers that were going out for her.

(little story) As she sat with her husband before she went in for the operation she felt tears filling her eyes. They prayed together and after that she felt strong and the tears were gone.

The operation took 4 hours and was a success. She was in recovery for 8 hours (they actually wanted to keep her over night in recovery) and finally got to her room at about 7 tonight because she was doing so well.  She had a list of names (Hospital staff) that she wanted to pray for. I told her that could be gone over later.

She is (expectedly) in some pain but her spirits are up.

Thank you to all who prayed for her and continue to.
