Symphony,

What you said reminded me of a poem by Clay Harrison that I just read the other day. It goes:

Why worry about tomorrow
And the rising of the sun,
Or anguish over past mistakes
That cannot be undone?

Why waste life's precious moments
On things that bruise the heart
When today is ours to fashion
Into a work of art?

Today comes but once, my friend,
It never will return-
So use it wisely while you can,
There's a lesson you may learn.

Let history record the past
And tomorrow come what may.
Be content to do your best
With what you have today.

God bless,

Alfie

Thank you, Alfie.

Sorta weirdly, I just noticed Tibby's earlier posts; you sound like the build of a bouncer, Tibby; and I was just watching a Robert Deniro/Chales Grodin movie, "Midnight Run"; 'bout a bounty hunter(Deniro) who has hours to apprehend a mafia stooge(Grodin).  Well, in the end credits, it lists the names of the actors who played the mafia boss's three thugs.  One of them is nicknamed "Tibby".

Ahem.

Anyway, an interesting, entertaining movie.  Has the same kind of ending as Steve Martin's "Leap of Faith".  It's a lot about faith, and friendship.
