Hi.
I just joined the forum. My wife and I have been Christians for 30 years now, will have been married 35 this June. We have three daughters and two grandchildren.
We live in Upstate NY and work in Vermont. Both of us grew up here, but have also lived in Nova Scotia, Saskatchewan, and Wisconsin.
My wife works as a teacher's aide, I as an auto mechanic.
We belong to the Hoosick Falls Community Alliance Church. We team teach Sunday School and I run the church website - http://www.geocities.com/hfcac/hfcac1.html. I go out on visitation with one of the church elders fairly regularly.
Our interests include hiking, camping, reading, & computers.

Welcome Rhys!
I've been all over the web - this is the best Christian forum I've found. Somewhat heated sometimes - but I guess that is to be expected.

I sincerely hope that you enjoy Christians Unite. It sounds like God has richly blessed you and your family. I've been married to a beautiful lady for almost 31 years, have a son and a daughter, and two strapping grandsons. Now we have almost enough grandparents on Christians Unite to be a REALLY DANGEROUS GROUP. Cheesy

Welcome Rhys! I hope ya enjoy your time here. I can relate to you being a Christian and loving camping... Grin

Not much beats loading you boat up...rideing down the river till you find a good spot to camp. I'm lucky enough to live by the Mighty Mississippi River... Grin

Enjoy this forum, and when ya camp watch out for them gators and snakes. Grin

Welcome rhys!!!! It is truly a joy to know that at such a statly age that you and your wife are still active. In the Bahamas we don't have that much sites for camping but the fishing is quite good. I do hope that you will be edified by the word of God and from other fellow christians. Remember, TO KNOW HIM IS TO LOVE HIM AND TO LOVE HIM IS TO KNOW HIM. I am speaking of none other than our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. May God continue to Bless you and your family.
