IN TODAY’S EDITION
Trump’s health report should quiet critics. It won’t. DOJ aims to have SCOTUS resolve the DACA question quickly. Sometimes, crime is just crime — unless the Rainbow Mafia needs to play the victim. Morality based on “consent” isn’t morality at all. The latest #MeToo story shows why. Cory Booker, 2020 Democrat hopeful, unloads on a woman in a tirade about Trump. Plus our Daily Features: Top Headlines, Memes, Cartoons, Columnists and Short Cuts.
THE FOUNDATION
“Man, once surrendering his reason, has no remaining guard against absurdities the most monstrous, and like a ship without rudder, is the sport of every wind.” —Thomas Jefferson (1822)
IN BRIEF
So Much for Using the 25th Amendment Against Trump1
By Nate Jackson
There was a lot of crazy talk in that press conference about President Donald Trump’s health report yesterday, but none of it came from the podium. All the nonsense came from the Leftmedia due to chronic Trump Derangement Syndrome.
For some time now, Democrats and their media allies have obsessed about the president’s health — particularly his mental fitness — largely as 25th Amendment2 groundwork for their pathetic impeachment campaign. So the report given Tuesday by the White House’s lead physician, Navy Rear Admiral Ronny Jackson, deflated their hopes:
In summary, the president’s overall health is excellent. His cardiac performance during his physical exam was very good. … We discussed diet, exercise and weight loss. He would benefit from a diet that is lower in fat and carbohydrates and from a routine exercise regimen. … All clinical data indicates that the president is currently very healthy and that he will remain so for the duration of his presidency.
Jackson has spent a lot of time with Trump, and his report certainly calls into question all the baloney from author Michael Wolff and his book, Fire and Fury. “The guy can’t go put one coherent sentence after another,” Wolff insists. “He’s off. He can’t stay on subject. He can’t stay on point.” News outlets likewise have featured psychiatrists “diagnosing” Trump despite never having even met him. That got so bad the American Psychiatric Association told shrinks to knock it off3 with violating the “Goldwater Rule” — questioning from afar the mental state of a public figure.
In fact, due to the Left’s incessant questions, Trump insisted that he also take some sort of cognitive test, so Jackson complied, though he noted it was the first time a sitting president had undergone such a test. Trump scored a perfect 30 out of 30 on the very extensive Montreal Cognitive Assessment. Jackson noted, “If he had some type of mental, cognitive issue … this test is sensitive enough. It would pick up on it. He would not have gotten 30 out of 30 on the test. So I’m very confident at this particular stage that he has nothing like that going on.”
With a wink and a smirk, we might even concede that Trump is, as he called himself, a “very stable genius.”
Not so with the Leftmedia. Their utterly inane questions4 were something to behold. Questions ranged from asking about Trump’s love of fast food, Diet Coke and ice cream to wondering if he’d publicly step on a scale to prove he weighed 239 pounds. The obsession will continue.
Oh, and by the way, Jackson was also Barack Obama’s personal physician, and, as you recall, Obama refused to release some of his medical records…
Administration Seeks SCOTUS Ruling on DACA5
By Thomas Gallatin
Last week, U.S. District Judge William Alsup, a Bill Clinton appointee in “sanctuary” San Francisco, ruled in favor of a lawsuit brought by Barack Obama’s former secretary of Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano, forbidding President Donald Trump from following through on his decision to end Obama’s executive order-created DACA program6. On Tuesday, the Department of Justice announced that it would seek to bypass the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and take the case directly to the Supreme Court. That’s yuge.
Attorney General Jeff Sessions defended the unusual move, stating, “It defies both law and common sense for DACA — an entirely discretionary non-enforcement policy that was implemented unilaterally by the last administration after Congress rejected similar legislative proposals and courts invalidating the similar DAPA policy — to somehow be mandated nationwide by a single district court in San Francisco.” Tom Goldstein, publisher of SCOTUSBlog, noted, “It’s an extremely unusual request, one that is granted once in a blue moon. It’s a signal by the Trump administration that they take this issue incredibly seriously and think the justices should, too.”
While this is indeed an unusual action, it is fully warranted given the fact that DACA is not law but an executive order, which a president is free to rescind. Meanwhile, Democrats aren’t actually interested in coming up with a legislative solution to DACA, though they do want to force Trump into keeping Obama’s lawless executive order. Reflecting on the real leftist agenda7 with the “s—thole” episode, Mollie Hemingway correctly observes8, “The out-of-context leak was designed to dampen the prospects of an immigration compromise. You may want to sit down for this, but sometimes people care more about profiting from a problem than solving a problem. What if Democrats are using DACA recipients as human shields for their own electoral plans in November, and to get increased voter intensity, higher political donations, and greater turnout in upcoming elections?”
Why ask, though, when you can just state the fact: Democrats want to drag out DACA as long as possible, especially during an election year, all in a cynical ploy for votes. Trump is looking to end the stalemate.

FEATURED ANALYSIS About Those Supposed LGBT ‘Hate Crimes’24
By Lewis Morris
The murder of Christa Leigh Steele-Knudslien in North Adams, Massachusetts, earlier this month has taken on larger significance than local police would have thought possible. Steele-Knudslien was murdered by her husband Mark in their home. Mark later turned himself in and was arrested for the crime. While no motive was made known to the public, it appeared at first blush Christa was a victim of domestic violence. Then the Human Rights Campaign got involved.
Christa was transgender. The HRC emphasized this fact in the case when it tweeted that Christa was “the first reported murder of a trans person in 2018.” The case has not even gone to trial yet, but the HRC and the larger LGBT community is already convinced this was a hate crime simply because Christa was transgender.
LGBT activists and organizations would have us believe that any crimes perpetrated against members of their community are hate crimes, motivated solely by the fact that victims are lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender. The violence that is supposedly committed against transsexuals in particular is of record proportions, if you are to believe a study the HRC published last year.
According to the study25, 2017 was the deadliest year on record for transsexuals, with trans women four times more likely to be murdered than those who correctly identify as women based on their biology. How many transgender people were killed in 2017? Twenty-eight.
