Jeremiah 31:34
And (2)they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

This is about the New Covenant right?Can someone explain this to me,because men are still teaching..Thanks

jabez,

Yes, this is speaking of the New Covenant, it is primarily a covenenat which will be made with Israel, at the time this prophecy was written the nation of Israel was a divided nation.

But it is the same covenant which will replace the First Covenant made with , note verse 32;

"Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt;"

Gentiles, are partakers of some of the benefits of this New Covenant, it will be fulfilled, when the Remanent of Israel is saved, at the Lords return, it is future, latter day prophecy for Israel.

We are made partakers of this Covenant in Christ Jesus. (Eph 3:1-6, according to Paul, in a revelation of the mystery in Christ by the gospel: tp Him.

So, to answer your question, when they come to a perfect knowledge of Jesus, evangelization between them, shall cease.

In the meantime, since the church is peppered with goats, and unlearned christians, men are still teaching....

Blessings,

Petro

We know when Moses got the 10 commandments,that the people had to be taught them,they had to see them with there eyes,and those ones that were not taught them heard them from a neigbor.The Laws were not written on there hearts at that time.Now in this time the the Laws are written on our hearts.We dont need someone to tell us it is wrong to kill someone,for we already know it is wrong to do that,by how we feel.(The Holy Spirit dwells in us)The same can be said of the other laws aswell.

I didnt see it this way until i spoke with a freind about this.
