Hello Sapphire,

We will definitely keep them in our prayers. The churches of today in Taiwan probably are much like churches we used to have 100 years ago, very strict and serious. You also have to remember that part of the world is known for persecution of Christians. Taiwan probably represents a small area of toleration for anything Christian. AND, the generation gap would be much more radical in an Asian culture. So, I assume that the people in the church feel like the kids are heathens.  Cheesy  Right?

I'm glad to hear about you doing something like this. It sounds like they need some full time folks working only with the young people.

Love In Christ,
Tom

Romans 15:5-7 NASB  Now may the God who gives perseverance and encouragement grant you to be of the same mind with one another according to Christ Jesus, so that with one accord you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, accept one another, just as Christ also accepted us to the glory of God.

Hmm...I might just put this in the "Prayer Requests" forum. They need it.
I think you should!

Nope, just staying healthy enough to keep on posting. That way the posting numbers will take care of themselves.  Wink

It seems, I've been number 2 now forever. Not that I really want to pass Tom. Speaking of Tom........ I haven't seen him on in the past few days.

Knowing Tom - he probably has a house full of hurricane refugees and typing to a website has become secondary...

At least I pray that or something similar is happening...

Brothers and Sisters,

I sincerely appreciate the prayers. I've had some pretty rough days with my spine condition, and I've mainly been in bed. I'm praying that I just moved wrong and this isn't a further decline of my health. Many of you are on my permanent prayer list, and I would deeply appreciate your continued prayers for me. One of my biggest hopes and prayers is that God will let me continue to serve Him in some way. In the meantime, I plan to simply give things to JESUS and KEEP LOOKING UP!

Love In Christ,
Tom

Philippians 1:3-5 NASB  I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always offering prayer with joy in my every prayer for you all, in view of your participation in the gospel from the first day until now.

As I'm sure you know, you are on my prayer list brother. Seems that you and I, have been praying for each other, since I came here.

Judges 14:16 And Samson's wife wept before him, and said, Thou dost but hate me, and lovest me not: thou hast put forth a riddle unto the children of my people, and hast not told it me. And he said unto her, Behold, I have not told it my father nor my mother, and shall I tell it thee?
