Christ Himself lives His life in us!

May God cause our primary motive to always be neighborly love because I believe it's the foundation of our love for Him (1 Jn 4:20; Mt 22:39).

I chose to believe in and accept Christ when I was 25 and now I'm 57. It's not how long you've been a Christian but how Christian do you want to be.

My time in the Words is mostly consumed in the Spiritual Growth category. Most of my posts are from the spiritual growth writer Miles Stanford because his material is highly instructive for Christian maturity and always Bible based.

Married 33 yrs. with three sons and I work as an automotive technician.

The Christian life is not our living a life like Christ, or our trying to be Christ-like, nor is it Christ giving us the power to live a life like His; but it is Christ Himself living His own life through us; 'no longer I, but Christ.'"

Hello Bob,

WELCOME to Christians Unite. I hope that you enjoy it here.

I'm Tom, retired, disabled, 2 grown children, 4 grandsons, and married 38 years. I also like your favorite subject material, and I'm almost sure that I've read material from Miles Stanford. I'm almost sure that he's the same Miles Stanford who contributes frequently to Grace And The Truth Ministries. You should see some of his articles in the "Bible Prescription Shop" area of the forum under Grace Daily Inspirationals.

Most of my favorite authors are from the 1800s (i.e. John MacDuff, J.C. Ryle, James Smith, and many others). So one of my favorite sites to visit for the older materials is Grace Gems. Try it if you think that you might enjoy older materials.  http://www.gracegems.org/  You'll also find a variety of excellent Christian materials on the forum.

Love In Christ,
Tom
