The Beverly LaHaye-Terri Blackstock series?

I am on the last book of the series of 4 books.
The first is:
   #1 Seasons Under Heaven
   #2 Showers In Season
   #3 Times and Seasons
   #4 Seasons of Blessing

These are wonderful books. Especially for the ladies. Has more estrogen then anything, but it is so wonderful to see what God can do in peoples lives.

I am looking at my next reading venture once i am done with this. I will be starting the Second Chance Series by Terri Blackstock. Has anyone read these? If so how are they.

I am also considering the Milford Series by Jan Karon. Imput please if anyone has read these.
My problem is I have a comprehension problem due to an accident. So I need a book that is easy to read and follow. Something to hold my interest from the get go, which is what the Bevery LaHAye series did.

So if anyone can tell me about the ones I am looking into I would be grateful.

I haven't read the Beverly LaHaye series - I've been put off her I'm afraid.

There's a series? You've just made my day!

I've read At Home at Mitford, which I picked up by accident in a second-hand bookshop. You see, I know someone who lives in a village in Northumberland called Mitford, and I assumed the book was about that village or about the Mitford family. I was quite surprised when I realised it was about somewhere in America!

The one I've read was great. A nice gentle read about a vicar and his parish, with interesting characters and an engaging plot. I will definitely seek out the rest of the series if there are more of them! I re-read it a lot as well, so I would definitely recommend you read them.

I never knew you!
Never.

Hell might afford my miseries a shelter;
Therefore Hell keeps her ever-hungry mouths all
Bolted against me.
