This is eerie....

And something to think about! Since America is typically represented by an eagle. Saddam should have read up on his Muslim passages... The following verse is from the Quran, (the Islamic Bible)

 Quran (9:11) -- For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a fearsome Eagle. The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the lands of Allah and lo, while some of the people trembled in despair still more rejoiced; for the wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of Allah; and there was peace.

 Note the verse number!!!!!)

The email is a lie.  Quran 9:11 says nothing like this. See:

http://www.snopes.com/politics/war/quran.asp

People who spread this stuff without checking first are gossips at best.

If anyone wants a verse which may include the USA in the latter day prophecies, one might consider;

Zec 12
3  And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all peopl: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut to pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.

According to some scholars, the gentile nations (which includes all nations) are seeing as marching against Jerusalem (in that day), that day is the Day of the Lord, when He shall fight for Jerusalem; note verse 8 and 9,

And, in that day shall  the spirit of grace and of supplication will be poured out upon the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and they shall look upon ME, whom they have pierced, sayeth the Lord.  See, (Zec 12:10 thru 14:21)

It is not a pretty picture, almost makes one want to move to Israel, Jerusalem precisely.
