Waking Life is a MUST-SEE! But be warned, this isn't an escapist no-brainer movie! A friend of mine (an art major, no less) told me to wake it, and I didn't except it to be so deep and crazy at the same time!

Ok, the plot, a guy is stuck in a dream, and he keeps waking up into another dream, and he is starting to learn about lucid dream through this cycle. In each dream, he is talking to different people about Philosophy, spirituality, dreaming (of course), life, and how to tell what is a dream and what is real, thingsl ike that. Some of the conversations are thought-provoking, others will just mess with your head.

To make the movie all that more like an acid-trip, it was shot in live action, and then PAINTED OVER. So the whole movie is like a  long abstract piece of art, getting more and more abstract as the movie goes on. Even if the dialog goes over your head, the artwork it great!

Yeah, this movie is a Must-see. There are parts where you just want to turn it off, or fastforward, but don't. Maybe it is just a college thing. But, rent this movie anyways.
