Susan B. Anthony List Candidate Fund Endorses Carly Fiorina for U.S. Senate in California

WASHINGTON, (christiansunite.com) -- Today the Susan B. Anthony List Candidate Fund, a national pro-life political action committee, announced their endorsement of Carly Fiorina, candidate for U.S. Senate in California. Susan B. Anthony List Candidate Fund President Marjorie Dannenfelser commented on the endorsement:

"We've been waiting for Carly Fiorina for a long time--in fact, since the day Barbara Boxer was elected to the U.S. Senate. From a pro-woman, pro-life perspective, there could be no greater contrast. She embraces and advances the rights of women and unborn children, following in the footsteps of the earliest women in politics. Susan B. Anthony and the early feminists understood, as Carly Fiorina does, that undermining the rights of one never advances the rights of another."

The California Republican primary election is June 8th where Carly Fiorina will face Chuck Devore and Tom Campbell. The winner will challenge 18 year incumbent Senator Barbara Boxer in the general election. Senator Boxer is one of the most aggressive champions of abortion rights and is endorsed by EMILY's List.

Susan B. Anthony List Candidate Fund endorsements are promoted to the organization's nationwide membership of over 280,000 Americans. The SBA List Candidate Fund endorses pro-life female candidates, as well as pro- life male candidates who run against female candidates in favor of abortion rights. During the 2008 election cycle, the Susan B. Anthony List bundled over $1 million in direct candidate contributions from its members.
