In some versions of the bible ,1st. CORINTHIANS 11:24 quotes Jesus as saying" This is my body which is broken for you" . This seems to be a contradiction to Psalms 34:20 , and to the gospels: is this a publisher error or am i missing a deeper meaning.

Hello herbie. I see this is your first post here so I want to say welcome to the forums.

The Greek word that was used here that was translated as broken is only used when speaking of breaking bread Therefore it is not being used in regards to broken bones nor was it to be taken as a comparison to such.

Hello Herbie,

WELCOME!

I agree - there is no contradiction between the two Scriptures. Putting them in context should help you.
