Thats right!  Its called an autopatch.  Of course this relies on a stationary repeater somewhere to connect you to a phone line.   And you still have to pick up the pizza...lol

The hams sound pretty neat. To be able to talk to someone around the world. I always hear about them, but I don't know much about them still.
