Pro Life Anti-Abortion Initiative Launched in East Tennessee

by Staff
September 3, 2009

KNOXVILLE, Tenn., (christiansunite.com) -- A new pro-life anti-abortion initiative has been launched in East Tennessee. The Center for Bio-Ethical Reform (CBR) Southeast Region ( www.ProLifeOnCampus.com) announces its Corporate Accountability Project. Effective immediately, CBR will expose businesses who provide goods and services that enable abortion to continue in our community.

Because abortion is an act of violence that kills a preborn human baby, businesses which supply goods and services to the abortion industry are comparable to those which constructed ovens for the Nazi death camps or provided Zyklon-B gas to exterminate millions.

Therefore, on the sidewalks and public right-of-ways in front of such businesses, on trucks driving in nearby public streets, and in the skies overhead, CBR will display large numbers of bloody, aborted-baby photos that will show customers of such businesses what they are making possible. CBR calls these signs "weapons of mass instruction." They are the same kind of disturbing photos which have historically been used by social reformers to dramatize injustice and educate the public.

CBR intends to use every lawful means available to dissuade such businesses and their decision- makers from assisting the abortion industry.

Should CBR go forward with these lawful demonstrations, they are committed to maintaining a lawful presence. CBR will not trespass nor interfere with rights of ingress or egress. CBR will not intimidate nor harass customers. Nor will CBR protesters impermissibly interfere with business relationships. Businesses have the right to provide goods and services to whomever they choose, but CBR, likewise, has the right to show the world the savagery being committed by the abortion industry and by those who supply them with goods and services. They will exercise that right until the killing stops.

CBR's extensive experience with the public display of these truly horrifying aborted-baby photos is that viewers of every political persuasion will go to great lengths to avoid the areas in which the pictures are displayed.

CBR Southeast Director Fletcher Armstrong commented that "For the past 35 years, pro-life activists have been considered toxic. Even 'pro-life' pastors don't want us around. It is time we started using our toxicity to our own advantage. If businesses support abortion, they get us, and they don't want us."
