Now Marc(Hi Marc, welcome back), don't go all fuzzy on us here.  I guess I'm prayin' for you too.  "Broken" here is seeking prayer--if she hasn't already gone ahead and ended it, as she said she was, on her prayer request thread.  Please pray for her.  Please pray also for Tigerlily--she's a debilitating illness that she's learned is just getting worse.  Please pray for these too...

Yes, I agree sooner than later, however, in our excitement and anticipation we cannot lose sight of the fact that there is still work to do in the meantime.  We need to be about the business of the kingdom.  How many of us have family members that are not saved? what about our neighbors, the person who cut you off on the freeway this morning or the rude checkout person at the store? We most certainly cannot force someone to receive salvation but are we to do nothing? What is that we are doing?  Please don't get me wrong, I am pointing the finger at myself before I point it at anyone else and ask the Lord to forgive me for being idle in this area for so long.  Anyways, back to my point. I do agree He is returning soon but what would the Lord have me do TODAY for the lost?

O my God, incline thine ear, and hear; open thine eyes, and behold our desolations, and the city which is called by thy name: for we do not present our supplications before thee for our righteouseness, but for thy great mercies.

I think this is a good thread to BUMP back UP!!

Way things are going, in Israel, sounds like Matthew 24:6 signs of Jesus's return for us.

Matthew 24:3-6 While He was seated on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately and said, Tell us, when will this take place, and what will be the sign of Your coming and of the end (the completion, the consummation) of the age? 4Jesus answered them, Be careful that no one misleads you [deceiving you and leading you into error]. 5 For many will come in (on the strength of) My name [appropriating the name which belongs to Me], saying, I am the Christ (the Messiah), and they will lead many astray.  6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars; see that you are not frightened or troubled, for this must take place, but the end is not yet.

I want to make one thing clear though, this is only my opinion.

Yes Brother this is a good thread to bump up, I agree with you. The way things are looking in Israel I would have to say it will not be too long. But as non of us know the time or day, we must all ccontinue to pray for the lost, the peace of Israel and for our country.

I agree with you both ... in hoping and praying that "the' time is near... the Lord tarries so that more souls are able to hear about the "Good News"and come to Him, but when that 'line' is crossed...
