Hello Britt, and welcome to Christians Unite forum.

There is alot of information for Christians here on Christians Unite. While you are still young in your new birth, satan will be coming at you more now than ever. So please remember to read your Bible, and pray daily.

Quote
I just decided that my life is mine. And I am in charge.

There is a song, "I Surrender All" sung by Brian Littrell. Surrender is an easy word to say, but a hard thing to do. God wants to do so many things in our lives for His glory. However, we limit God's usage of us because we have not or need to surrender stuff to Him such as things, people, relationships, etc.

Listen to this song, think about or write a list of things you need to surrender. For example, your finances, your health, your marriage, or your job. The list can go on and on. But no matter how long the list, God can take it off your hands with no problems at all. God wants us to surrender every and anything to Him that is hindering our relationship with Him. He wants to lighten the load so we can praise and worship Him with no strings (or shackles) attach.

Here are the lyric, to I Surrender All.

All to Jesus I surrender
All to Him I freely give;
I will ever love and trust Him,
In his presence daily live.

I surrender all, I surrender all;
All to thee, my blessed Savior,
I surrender all.

All to Jesus I surrender,
Humbly at His feet I bow,
Worldly pleasures all forsaken,
Take me Jesus, take me now.

I surrender all, I surrender all;
All to thee, my blessed Savior,
I surrender all.

Lord I give to you
All I ever have
And everything I was
And everything I am

And now I lay it down
I lay it at your feet
To your grace
To your power
I surrender all

Lord, I give myself to thee
Fill me with thy love and power
Let thy blessings fall on me

I surrender all, I surrender all;
All to thee, my blessed Savior,
I surrender all.

I surrender all, I surrender all;
All to thee, my blessed Savior,
I surrender all.

This is the video, I Surrender All, at tangle. Tangle is a Christian website.

Hello Brittney,

Welcome to Christians Unite forums. As Brother Bob said there is a lot of material here to read that will help you in your new found walk. There are also a lot of great Christians here that enjoy helping and encouraging others.

Look around and please feel to join in with any of the conversations or to ask any questions that you may have.

Hello Brittney,

WELCOME!

I sincerely hope that you enjoy Christians Unite. I'm looking forward to having fellowship with you.

Love In Christ,
Tom

John 3:16-20 ASV  16  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life.  17  For God sent not the Son into the world to judge the world; but that the world should be saved through him.  18  He that believeth on him is not judged: he that believeth not hath been judged already, because he hath not believed on the name of the only begotten Son of God.  19  And this is the judgment, that the light is come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light; for their works were evil.  20  For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, and cometh not to the light, lest his works should be reproved.
