Slouching toward Sodom

(Jude 1:7) "Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire."

This we are to remember, and Sodom is mentioned often in Scripture as the prime example of the judgment of God which is "according to righteousness.

A recent search on this topic, Googling using various terms, has revealed the pro-homosexual misinterpretations of the Bible far outnumber the refutations of such by conservative Christians (and i load 50 listings at once). And most of the Christian responses to pro homosexual "wresting" of the Scriptures to their own destruction (2Pt. 3:16) are rather cursory. This ought not to be so brethren. The reason for the pervasive pro homosexual effluence is due not only to the implacable nature of the pernicious perversion at issue, but bcz they know, more than many Christians seem to, that the authority of the Bible is their real opposition, more than arguments that appeal to pathos.

Recently, i was invited to contribute to do a page on a conservative online encyclopedia, a site that needs contributors, on "homosexual interpretations. I also do some editing this on a liberal online encyclopedia in seeking to provide more balance to it's often far left leaning entries. This is a venue that comes up at the top of most any topical search, which young and old often find first in there quest for info and answers. I am a novice at editing such, and and am an unlettered lay person, but by God's grace we can do all He calls us to. I am writing here to encourage those here to get involved, to provide "fair and balanced" entries. Jesus went where the lost were, and today that also include cyber space.
