HELLO! I've never belonged to a forum before, so I don't even know where to begin. Usually, I'm not at a loss of words! lol!

First and foremost, I am a child of God... then wife, mother, daughter, and sister. I'm a graphic designer by trade and have been for over 25 yrs. now! A few years back, I finally began listening to God and took my art to a new level. So, now, I also design Christian jewelry and t-shirts.

I've loved art and have been drawing since elementary school. These days, my canvas is my monitor. We've all been given different talents by God in which to use to spread His Word. My gift is art. I have a tendency to stutter (and sweat. lol) when trying to talk to people that I don't know, and my singing would scare everyone away, so, my gift of art fits me perfectly!

I love animals! We have a dog, cat, parrot, and a horse! When we get our house construction completed we'll have ten acres, so we'll get more! lol!

Well, I guess that's about it!

Have a blessed day!

Hello Bold4GodAttitude,

WELCOME!

We're happy to have you with us, and I look forward to having fellowship with you. I like your introduction. Many of us also have CHRIST foremost in our lives, and we should give THANKS for this every day!

Love In Christ,
Tom

Ephesians 6:10-17  Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.  11  Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.  12  For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.  13  Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.  14  Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;  15  And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;  16  Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.  17  And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

That is a pretty horse you have in your avatar. It reminds me of one that I had as a teen.

Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone! Glad you like my horse, Pastor Roger! She's my first horse... and a brat... a BIG brat! lol! I'm knew to horsemanship and really should have bought an older horse that was already trained. However, when I saw her, I just had to have her. She's not broken and not trained, so she doesn't have any respect... unless you want to brush her. Shocked) Well, I'm hoping that we'll be sending her off for training soon... and if she's not trainable then she will make an expensive, but beautiful, lawn ornament. Wink

Horses are quite intelligent. I've trained quite a few. One that i had was abused by prior owners. It took a lot of patience to train her. When she was trained she wouldn't let anyone handle her but me. From the sounds of it you don't have one of those kind. If it is gentle to handle while brushing then it should be fairly easy to train. Just go slow and win over her trust. I'm sure that you will do fine.

Yes, Pastor Roger, I think she'll do fine also. I've had her for a year now, but she's being boarded while we build our home and my husband wants to wait until we are finished to begin formal training. I don't understand stand that, but okie dokie. Anyway, the horse and I have come a long way from the time I bought her. She wasn't physically abused by the former owner, but I guess you could say mentality wise and nutrition wise she was. The former owner had her in a pin that she barely had room to turn around in and she could stand to put on a few pounds. When I first got her, she didn't know what to do with extra space! She settled in a few days later and immediately started gaining weight, but had a not-so-nice disposition. It took nearly 7 months of visiting her everyday before she finally trusted me enough to even groom her. So, from that aspect, we have come a long way. I have researched a lot of trainers and have decided to take a course in the Clinton Anderson methods. I look forward to learning with my beautiful girl.

Now, it's time to go and visit my girl...

Hope your having a beautiful day.
