It's past time to brush off the cobwebs from this old subject and bring it back out to the limelight. Much of this material I have collected from as far back as 1994 when I was first made aware of it myself.

Take special note of hteir agenda from the start "many structures of our government and economy must be radically transformed through greater economic and social democracy" and with that thought in mind take a look at where we stand in the economic crisis today and with the democrats doing all they can to block anything that will get us out of it and still maintain an economy of a free nation.

Who are the Democratic Socialists of America? They are one of many political organizations with full membership in the Socialist International. The Democratic Socialists of America claim not to be a political party, so I assume the political party they do belong to is their socialist party of choice. In this case it happens to be the Democratic Party of the United States.

Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) - Note: DSA is the socialist organization in the United States, with trade union contacts and members elected to the US Congress. Due to the unusual political situation in the US which prohibits a regular multi-party system, the DSA is the equivalent of a socialist party in the US. While the DSA brags of having U.S. Representatives among their membership, those members no longer want their names made public. I wonder why? The list below is out of date, because they no longer publish their congressional membership, but it will give you an idea of the magnitude of their infiltration into the Congress.

The Socialist International is exactly what the name implies, an internaional organization of socialist political parties. Most of these parties use such words in their titles as: democratic, socialist, progressive, national, liberation, revolutionary, labor, worker's people's, front, etc.. Ahh, now here's one everyone should remember.

That is just a small example of member parties. If you, or I, belonged to an organization with a name similar to those we wouldn't be able to get a security clearance, or at least a few years ago we wouldn't have been able to. Over the past eighty-one years we have been taught that names like that are used by communist front organizations, sworn to the overthrow of freedom, and our Republican form of government. Today they are part of our government, and finding inroads worldwide because people have become tired of hearing about the communist threat especially since the Soviet Union fell apart. This complacency will lead to our loss of all freedoms and liberty.

To show you just how entrenched they are in our government, here is a list of those members of the House of Representatives who are members of The Democratic Socialists of America. Remember, this is only the House of Representatives and doesn't include the Senate or the rest of the government. And don't forget, Tony Blair, Prime Minister of Great Britain, heads the British Labor Party which is a full member of Socialists International.

We should also be concerned with our state legislatures, and especially so with those individuals occupying the Governor's offices.

Pelosi leader of 'Progressive Caucus'
Dems' likely top House official part of powerful, socialist-linked bloc

Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., the likely new minority leader in the House of Representatives, serves on the executive committee of the socialist-leaning Progressive Caucus, a bloc of about 60 votes or nearly 30 percent of the minority vote in the lower chamber.

Until 1999, the website of the Progressive Caucus was hosted by the Democratic Socialists of America. Following an expose of the link between the two organizations in WorldNetDaily, the Progressive Caucus established its own website under the auspices of Congress. Another officer of the Progressive Caucus, and one of its guiding lights, is avowed socialist Rep. Bernie Sanders, the Vermont independent.

The Democratic Socialists of America's chief organizing goal is to work within the Democratic Party and remove the stigma attached to "socialism" in the eyes of most Americans.

"Stress our Democratic Party strategy and electoral work," explains an organizing document of the DSA. "The Democratic Party is something the public understands, and association with it takes the edge off. Stressing our Democratic Party work will establish some distance from the radical subculture and help integrate you to the milieu of the young liberals."

Nevertheless, the goal of the Democratic Socialists of America has never been deeply hidden. Prior to the cleanup of its website in 1999, the DSA included a song list featuring "The Internationale," the worldwide anthem of communism and socialism. Another song on the site was "Red Revolution" sung to the tune of "Red Robin." The lyrics went: "When the Red Revolution brings its solution along, along, there'll be no more lootin' when we start shootin' that Wall Street throng. ..." Another song removed after WorldNetDaily's expose was "Are You Sleeping, Bourgeoisie?" The lyrics went: "Are you sleeping? Are you sleeping? Bourgeoisie, Bourgeoisie. And when the revolution comes, We'll kill you all with knives and guns, Bourgeoisie, Bourgeoisie."

In the last three years, the Progressive Caucus has been careful to moderate its image for mainstream consumption.

"The members of the Progressive Caucus share a common belief in the principles of social and economic justice, non-discrimination and tolerance in America and in our relationships with other countries," the group's statement of purpose explains.

Most of the members of the Progressive Caucus, including Pelosi, opposed authorizing the war on Iraq. In fact, most Democrats in the House opposed the war resolution. House Minority Leader Richard Gephardt and 81 other House Democrats supported the move.

"I have seen no evidence or intelligence that suggests that Iraq indeed poses an imminent threat to our nation." Pelosi said in voting against the resolution. "If the administration has that information, they have not shared it with the Congress."

The latest issue of the liberal New Republic bemoans Pelosi's ascendancy to top leadership in her party because of her extreme left positions, calling the Democrat's position "dangerous."

"The ideological vacuum atop the post-Sept. 11 Democratic Party will inevitably be filled," the New Republic said in its trademark TRB column. "And, if it is filled by Nancy Pelosi and Dennis Kucinich, the United States will no longer be a 50-50 nation; it will be a 40-60 nation for a generation."

Pelosi, 62, last year was elected by her Democratic colleagues to be the House Democratic Whip – making her the highest-ranking woman in the U.S. Congress even before her expected rise to the role of House minority leader. She also serves on the House Intelligence Committee.

Pelosi represents a liberal congressional district, taking in most of San Francisco. Her votes against the resolution authorizing the use of force in Iraq and in support of such domestic initiatives as needle exchange programs for AIDS sufferers may not be far out of step with her district constituency. But some suggest the nation's pulse may be another matter.

Pelosi was 47 before she won her first election, after raising five children with her businessman husband, Paul. But she has been involved in politics all her life. Her father was a New Deal congressman from Maryland and later the mayor of Baltimore. Her brother also served as Baltimore's mayor. She was hand-picked to run for Congress by the dying Rep. Sala Burton, whose seat Pelosi won in a special election in 1987.

She has never lost an election.

The Progressive Caucus is an organization of Members of Congress founded in 1991 by newly-elected House Representative Bernie Sanders (Independent-Vermont), the former mayor of Burlington and a member of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), which describes itself as "the principal U.S. affiliate of the Socialist International."

As of April 2007, the Progressive Caucus included Sanders (who became a U.S. Senator in 2006), Senator Sherrod Brown of Ohio, and 69 members of the House of Representatives, all of them leftist Democrats and almost all in districts heavily gerrymandered to guarantee the re-election of any Democratic Party incumbent, no matter how extreme.

On November 11, 1999, the Progressive Caucus drafted its Position Paper on economic inequality. It reads, in part, as follows: "Economic inequality is the result of two and a half decades of government policies and rules governing the economy being tilted in favor of large asset owners at the expense of wage earners. Tax policy, trade policy, monetary policy, government regulations and other rules have reflected this pro-investor bias. We propose the introduction or reintroduction of a package of legislative initiatives that will close America's economic divide and address both income and wealth disparities. … The concentration of wealth is a problem because it distorts our democracy, destabilizes the economy and erodes our social and cultural fabric."

In order "to bring new life to the progressive voice in U.S. politics," the Progressive Caucus has worked closely with Progressive Challenge, a project of the Institute for Policy Studies. Progressive Challenge is a coalition through which the activities and talking points of leftist groups are synchronized and harmonized with one another, producing coordinated, mutually-reinforcing propaganda from some 200 seemingly-unconnected groups.

In 2005 the Progressive Caucus crafted its "Progressive Promise" document, which advocates socialized medicine; radical environmentalism; the redistribution of wealth; higher taxes; the elimination of numerous provisions of the Patriot Act; dramatic reductions in the government's intelligence-gathering capabilities; gotcha120 for poor countries; and the quick withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq. These measures, says the Progressive Caucus, would help "re-build U.S. alliances around the world, restore international respect for American power and influence, and reaffirm our nation's constructive engagement in the United Nations and other multilateral organizations."

Until 1999 the Progressive Caucus worked in open partnership with Democratic Socialists of America. After the press reported on this link, the connections suddenly vanished from both organizations' websites.

The Congressional Progressive Caucus was established in the U.S. House of Representatives in the early 1990s. It reflects the diversity and strength of the American people, and we seek to give voice to the needs and aspirations of all Americans and to build a more just and humane society. The Co-Chairwomen of the 72-Member Congressional Progressive Caucus, U.S. Representatives Lynn Woolsey and Barbara Lee, welcome your interest in the growing Progressive Caucus.

Describing itself as "the principal U.S. affiliate of the Socialist International," the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) is the largest socialist organization in the United States.

    "We are socialists," reads the organization's boilerplate, "because we reject an international economic order sustained by private profit, alienated labor, race and gender discrimination, environmental destruction, and brutality and violence in defense of the status quo."

    "To achieve a more just society," adds DSA, "many structures of our government and economy must be radically transformed. ... Democracy and socialism go hand in hand. All over the world, wherever the idea of democracy has taken root, the vision of socialism has taken root as well—everywhere but in the United States."

Formed in 1983 during the Cold War by merging splinter factions of the Socialist movement, DSA brought together what it calls "former Socialists and Communists, former old leftists and new leftists, and many who had never been leftists at all." In its early years, DSA supported the Soviet-backed nuclear freeze program that would have consolidated Soviet nuclear superiority in Europe - under the banner of promoting "peace."

DSA summarizes its philosophy as follows:

    "Today … resources are used to make money for capitalists rather than to meet human needs. We believe that the workers and consumers who are affected by economic institutions should own and control them. Social ownership could take many forms, such as worker-owned cooperatives or publicly owned enterprises managed by workers and consumer representatives. Democratic Socialists favor as much decentralization as possible. ... While we believe that democratic planning can shape major social investments like mass transit, housing, and energy, market mechanisms are needed to determine the demand for many consumer goods."

DSA seeks to increase its political influence not by establishing its own party, but rather by working closely with the Democratic Party to promote leftist agendas.

    "Like our friends and allies in the feminist, labor, civil rights, religious, and community organizing movements, many of us have been active in the Democratic Party," says DSA. "We work with those movements to strengthen the party's left wing, represented by the Congressional Progressive Caucus. ... Maybe sometime in the future ... an alternative national party will be viable. For now, we will continue to support progressives who have a real chance at winning elections, which usually means left-wing Democrats."

Until 1999, DSA hosted the website of the Progressive Caucus. Following a subsequent expose of the link between the two entities, the Progressive Caucus established its own website under the auspices of Congress. But DSA and the Progressive Caucus remain intimately linked. All 58 Progressive Caucus members also belong to DSA. In addition to these members of Congress, other prominent DSA members include Noam Chomsky, Ed Asner, Gloria Steinem, and Cornel West, who serves as the organization's honorary Chair.

In the wake of 9/11, DSA characterized the terror attacks as acts of retaliation for American-perpetrated global injustices.

    "We live in a world," said DSA, "organized so that the greatest benefits go to a small fraction of the world's population while the vast majority experiences injustice, poverty, and often hopelessness. Only by eliminating the political, social, and economic conditions that lead people to these small extremist groups can we be truly secure."

Strongly opposed to the U.S. War on Terror and America's post-9/11 military engagements in Afghanistan and Iraq, DSA is a member organization of the United For Peace and Justice anti-war coalition led by Leslie Cagan, a longtime committed socialist who aligns her politics with those of Fidel Castro's Communist Cuba.

The trashing of America has reached new heights with the affirmation in all three branches of the United States government of everything that pulls down a nation and a denial of everything that makes a nation great.

A New Vision for America

As the balance of power continues to swing towards a Godless agenda, Americans will be increasingly forced to adopt a new perspective of who we are: one based not on immutable ideals and values, truth, justice, personal freedom and the Constitution of the United States, rather one based on relative values, deceit, unequal justice, Marxism and a redefined globalist Constitution.

Sadly, a large part of the American population is totally clueless about what's going on... and that too has been part of the agenda. Like the anti-literacy laws enacted during the 1800's following the Nat Turner Slave Rebellion, today most Americans are kept poor and stupid by big government, business, the media, and academia; all designed to keep them from being free while making them think it's for their own good.

Most Americans rely on the mainstream media to learn about the world around them. However, it is foolish to expect a fair and balanced accounting of events or the slightest hint of truth from the mainstream media. Corruption in government and corporate media towers of power have all but dismantled the First Amendment and that once great bastion of freedom has been warped to become little more than a propaganda tool of socialist government and fascist corporations. Media outlets no longer "report" the news, rather they "create" news to advance their political agendas, improve their ratings and add to their advertising profits. The Battle for the Hearts and Minds of America
Which will it be?

On one side, you have people who are struggling to achieve good lives for themselves and their children, and who believe in living by a set of divinely inspired moral absolutes - or, at the very least, they believe that following such a moral code represents the best way to avoid chaos and instability. These people are struggling to defend their present standard of living and indeed working to improve it. Which means that the opposition is attacking us to lower our standard of living and to prevent us from improving it.

On the other side, are those who wish to exploit and dominate other people, lower their standard of living and prevent them from improving it. And 'to exploit' includes the whole range of antisocial decisions and activities of those who put profit before people and community. These people insist that morality is relative and simply a personal decision. Any attempt to enforce a set of standards is viewed as oppression. Many liberals believe that efforts to adhere to and enforce behavioral rights and wrongs is simply the powerful in society attempting to force their views and judgments on the "victims" of society, rather than what it is: an attempt to maintain the standards that have evolved and survived throughout human civilization and which produce a quality life.

All I can say right now is WOW!

I've copied this and need some time to digest it. The magnitude of this problem would indicate that all levels of government, including Federal Law Enforcement, would HAVE TO ALREADY KNOW ABOUT THIS! In fact, most of the system - MINUS THE PEOPLE - would probably know about this. Maybe yes - maybe no. Maybe it's PAST TIME to forward information packets to all agencies from the cities and up that might have a way of dealing with this. That would obviously include all law enforcement agencies and every level of government.

Most cities, counties, and states have their own separate laws that pertain to subversive activities. These folks don't have the power at this time to take over the country, and they OBVIOUSLY WOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO TAKE OVER THE COUNTRY!  THEY WOULD BE ALLOWED TO SPEND LOTS OF TIME IN PRISON!  Maybe I'm naive, but I don't think the VAST MAJORITY of this country would tolerate this. If there are high quality sources of information and corroborating evidence, I would assume there are millions of patriotic folks with the courage and determination to file charges and put these COMMUNISTS IN PRISON! Subversive activities usually involve an assortment of CRIMINAL OFFENSES, so it would probably be much more than just an association with a political agenda. WE STILL HAVE MORE THAN ADEQUATE CRIMINAL LAWS, MULTIPLE CONSTITUTIONS, AND PROBABLY 80% PLUS OF THE POPULATION WHO WOULD BE HAPPY TO ENFORCE THEM!

Brother, my first thoughts involved a question about whether they engineered and profited from the Housing and Stock Market Crash. I realize that criminal charges related to finance, fraud, and conspiracy would have smaller consequences than subversive activities, but it's quite possible these same charges WOULD AMOUNT TO SUBVERSIVE ACTIVITIES. The INTENT would have to relate to harming the country, and this would be much more difficult to prove than fraud and corruption in office related charges. They could at least start with the BIG charges and go from there. Regardless, ALL who violated the law should be CHARGED! I think that just about the entire country would DEMAND that all appropriate CRIMINAL CHARGES be filed! THIS IS NOT GOING AWAY WITHOUT TONS OF CRIMINAL CHARGES BEING FILED! Too many people have been harmed, and the PUBLIC won't allow this to be swept away. There are also multiple levels of law enforcement agencies that would want a bite of this rotten apple if the right things aren't done. In reality, criminal charges could be filed against each individual in EVERY STATE!  AND, I firmly believe there are plenty of honest law enforcement in close to ALL agencies.

'U.S. to collapse within 2 decades'
Islamic cleric warns America facing destruction

An Islamic cleric from Lebanon is forecasting the destruction of the United States within 20 years, according to a new report from MEMRI Television.

The Middle East Media Research Institute has posted a video on its website quoting Lebanese Sunni Cleric Sheik Muhammad Abu Al-Qat, who appeared on Al-Manar TV in May.

"Let me bring good tidings to the Muslims," Al-Qat states. "Allah willing, the American empire will very soon collapse."

He explained Americans now "object to any talk about the destruction of the state of Israel. … They are celebrating its 60th anniversary."

Then came his prophecy: "We say that Allah willing, within 20 to 12 years, America will collapse. This won't happen as a result of war. Not at all. Allah will send to America an American Gorbachev, from within. Gorbachev, who brought about the USSR collapse, was one of them.

"Everybody knows this story," he said. "An American Gorbachev will surface in America, and he will destroy this empire."

WND previously reported MEMRI's documentation of Muslim leaders using a children's television program to assure viewers it was proper for thieves to have their hands chopped off.

The report followed MEMRI's feature of a Palestinian show that had President Bush "killed" and a children's Mickey Mouse-lookalike being "martyred" for the Palestinian cause.

MEMRI is an independent nonprofit that provides translations of media reports from the Middle East and analysis.

The organization previously has documented a children's TV show about Nahoul, the bee, weeping over his "martyred" family.

Hamas, which won a majority in parliament in January 2006 elections, officially is considered a terrorist organization by the U.S. government. As WND reported, a prominent Hamas leader was captured on video boasting of using children, women and the elderly as human shields in its firefights with Israeli soldiers.

WND also reported Hamas launched a children's website in 2002 that encourages kids to follow the example of terrorist suicide bombers.
