Don't be left behind! Accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior before it is too late!

You don't want to suffer the Tribulation! The Two World Wars will seem peaceful compared to the Tribulation!
God will harden hearts and allow people to be deceived! Do you really want that?

The Rapture can come at any minute, so don't wait another second!

It COULD  happen at any time, but I doubt it will be in my lifetime. I can always hope though. "Even so, come, Lord Jesus."

Brother, you are right. However, I strongly believe that the Tribulation could happen within the next 30 years. ( not trying to set dates )

For one to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior on account to save you from suffering in the Tribulation, suggests that you're motives are not pure.

Hello crunchie, and welcome to Christians Unite forum.

I would suggest you read a few more of Brother Davids post, before you try and judge him. We as Christians are not to judge one another, as that isn't our job. That is the job of the Lord.

Matthew 7:1-3 Judge not, that ye be not judged. 2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. 3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

It wasn't and isnt my intention to judge.
Only God knows my heart, but if it has come across that way and I have offended you, please forgive me.

That's how it came across crunchie. No I haven't been offended at all. Though you may have offended brother David with your remark. On that note, we will have to wait and see.

We have children at a young age, we also have members of different countries (some with English as their 2nd or 3rd language) on this forum. China, Spain, France, and Canada, just to name a few. We also have a few that are from English speaking countries.... Australia, Great Britain, the Philippines, and of course America.  So we Moderators have to kind of watch out for all members.

Hello crunchie,

Welcome to Christians Unite.

What is the difference between this and accepting Christ in order to escape the death of sin. David more than most people, understands that suffering here on earth in these fleshy bodies sometimes is inevitable. Jesus Christ came with a promise. A promise of better things to come for those that accept Him as their Lord and Saviour. The promise of life eternal without suffering.

hello,

it has to do with the motives of the heart.

This is true and it is also true that the correct motives can be brought about in different ways in, through and by Christ.

hello,

it has to do with the motives of the heart.

Hello crunchie,

WELCOME!

I sincerely hope that you enjoy Christians Unite.

The knowledge and consequences of sin is the schoolmaster that brings us to CHRIST. This is the realization that we are in desperate need of a SAVIOUR and always a part of our decision for CHRIST. I must also add that fear of the LORD is not a bad thing. These things are the beginnings of loving the LORD, and this love grows as we begin to understand the beautiful Promises of GOD. As Christians, not going to hell is one of them, and not facing the Wrath of GOD in the Tribulation Period is another one. The bottom line is that we've been rescued from the curse of sin and death by the Law of FAITH in JESUS CHRIST. SALVATION IS RESCUE!

Love In Christ,
Tom

Had it not been for fear of God's wrath, I never would have been saved. If a person doesn't fear God and His wrath, why would they see a need to be saved? Love alone doesn't always do it--especially for a person who doesn't believe in love until AFTER he's saved, and even then he has a problem with believing in unconditional love.

Hi crunchie   Cheesy I can only reiterate what has been said. When you turn to God it's because you realise the state you are in and if you don't do something then you will feel the wrath of God. That surely is what God wants to happen so that you turn to His Son and He can forgive you. He doesn't say "Oh you only want Me because............"

Well, I was scared into getting saved, and it was very real. It happened on May 18, 1963 when I realized that I was lost and bound for hell. I was terrified of ending up there.
