Pro-Life flowers on the steps of the Supreme Court

If you are Pro-Life, you may wish to leave flowers on the steps of the Supreme Court.
Roe v. Wade pushes frivolous and unneeded abortions on all 50 states.
The flowers on the steps would be like it's the grave site of the unborn.
Thank You for your time.

Hello Pro-Life77,
WELCOME!
I sincerely hope that you enjoy Christians Unite, and I look forward to having fellowship with you.
Is this for a particular time-frame or something to coincide with an event of some sort? Many of us have spent a good portion of our lives in trying to stop the murder of babies. There have been countless petitions, events, demonstrations, marches, prayer vigils, and just about everything one can think of.
In the absence of a coinciding event, it might not be clear what the flowers are for. One would also need to research the possibility of littering charges being filed against persons leaving flowers. Things like this do need to be checked out and organized. Permits are also required in many cases, so I'm wondering if this is just a personal idea of yours or if this planned, organized, and checked out by an organization of some sort.
I mentioned these things because there are things to check and handle before making blanket requests like these. Is there a violation of the law involved? If so, what's the fine and/or jail time potential? If this is simply a spur of the moment idea with no research, I would suggest that you contact any of numerous Pro-Life organizations that could do the proper research and organization. For our readers, I would suggest waiting for appropriate information before doing anything like this. By the way, many of us are definitely Pro-Life, but more information is needed.
Love In Christ,
Tom
Christian Quotes 97 -
Vapid, superficial, selfish pleasure
Thousands live their whole life for vapid, superficial,
selfish pleasure; a wanton and wasteful expenditure
of available strength and purpose. How far better to
work for God and for the good of men! Not the exacted
toil of the fretted and fettered slave, but the consecration
of the willing heart, the service which is perfect freedom
- life, animated by the inspiring motto, "This world is
fading away, along with everything it craves. But if you
do the will of God, you will live forever!" 1 John 2:17

I am pretty sure the Bible says that we are to obey the laws of those who have authority over us, unless it goes against God's word. Therefore, littering wouldn't please God.

This is exactly correct and it would do nothing but harm our testimony for Christ to purposefully do something of that nature. As Brother Tom said we need to insure that we are abiding by the law, especially so in this case. We need to do what is right to insure a victory not a defeat.

Did Jesus break the law when He stopped the crowd from stoning that woman to death?
Did He break the law when He healed someone on the Sabbath ?
Did He break the law when He pushed over the money changer's table ?
On a more secular note:
Did Rosa Parks break the law, when she didn't give up her seat on the bus?
Did Gandhi break the law?
Littering is against the law. Standing up for what is right, isn't.
Who is gandhi

Did Jesus break the law when He stopped the crowd from stoning that woman to death?
NO!
He simply asked a question of those that were about to stone her.
Did He break the law when He healed someone on the Sabbath ?
NO!
As He stated He did nothing more than the Priests of the Tabernacle did.
Did He break the law when He pushed over the money changer's table ?
NO!
Again He did nothing more than the Priests would have done had they not been afraid of their own people.
On a more secular note:
Did Rosa Parks break the law, when she didn't give up her seat on the bus?
No, it wasn't a written law, but rather an unwritten law and one that was against all moral standards.
Did Gandhi break the law?
Perhaps he did as I don't know the laws for his area but Gandhi was not a Christian and did not ruin a testimony for Christ.
There are many ways that we can and should get our message across without breaking littering laws or any other such laws. The Pennsylvania 9 is an excellent example of this. They were not breaking any laws in witnessing to homosexuals during a homosexual rally but were arrested anyway. There is nothing wrong there and these people should be applauded for their actions.
On the other hand those of Westboro Baptist are breaking a number of laws in their protests against homosexuality. In fact in a number of cases are wrongfully denigrating other Christians and ruining the testimony of many Christians because of their actions and display of hate.
Their is a right way and wrong way. Choose the right way in the name of the Lord.

That is considered trespassing. I suggest that you get with one of the more reputable organizations that are already set up and have been protesting abortions and abortion clinics if you feel led to do so. Theri are a number of them both secular and Christian that have been quite effective. It is apparent that you are coming up with these ideas on your own. If you do join one of them be sure to follow their instructions to keep yourself and them out of any legal troubles that are not necessary tp endure.

If you are determined to work on your own then I suggest another legal action that you can do is to write, call or email your Representative and Senator as many others have been doing. If enough people do so it just might get the message across to them to start doing something about it.
