Hi,

My name is Joshua!  I'm brand-spanking-new to this site.  Many of you here know my brother david_james  He is my slightly younger brother.  I am 26 and he's 25.  Sometimes I think he is more mature and wiser... sometimes 

I came to this site after I asked david_james to direct me to a christian forum.  I am a forum junkie, but most of the forums visit have more swear words than encouraging words.  I hope I can enjoy my time here and contribute my own personality.

A bit about me:  I'm 26.  I, like my brother, have Muscular Dystrophy.  I live in my own home.  I'm a big sports fan.  I love all Toronto teams... Maple Leafs, Blue Jays, Raptors, etc...  My other interests are; cooking, movies, poker, & beer.

Most importantly;  God is not counting my sins against me because of Jesus' sacrifice... woo hoo! -- If you ask me my 'religious' views, I'll tell you this: The irreligious message of grace subverts any religious system.  Cool eh?

You won't find any swearing or even the hint of it here and if you do it won't be there long. We do all we can to keep this a place for good Christian fellowship.

The only hazards here are in the pies. Yes, even banana cream pies.

We have enjoyed fellowship with David for a long time, and I look forward to having fellowship with you. I echo the statement of Pastor Roger that we try very hard to keep Christians Unite clean and appropriate for Christian Family use - including children. Hopefully, we get rid of cursing and other dirty posts before many people see them. If you do see something like this, please report it by pushing the "report to moderator" button on the offending message. Tell us briefly what the problem is, and the forum system will send a message to all moderators and ADMIN. We don't have 24 hour coverage, but we do get pretty close on a frequent basis. We have had some horrible posts over the years, but they are nearly always taken care of very quickly.

By the way, I prefer coconut cream pies for the pie fights. In fact, I like them enough to remain a stationary target.
