Does the bible mention anywhere (I read through Leviticus) on WHY God decided to call certain animals unclean? We had this discussion in Sunday School yesterday and no one was able to come up with an answer.

God Bless!

I like your name but I don't think there is a defiitive answer to your question. I am sure He had some good reasons such as in the case of PORK in the pre- refrigeration era, it spoils very easily and could have made them very sick. Some animals were used in the sacrifices, but not others.

So, I don't think we can know in explicit terms- IMO but I would like to see an answer if there is one.
