            Despite the eyes I use to see
            The feelings that I feel

            Your presence is so real
            For You are working ceaselessly
            To change the things I hate
            The Spirit is refining me
            If only I will wait.

            Give me patience to endure
            Attacks of doubt and fear
            As I wander in a mist
            Your breath will blow it clear
            That I may be Your loving child
            Whose purpose You can use
            No longer willful and defiled
            But perfect without bruise.
