Even though any dream I have is just a dream and mean nothing, but I can't help think this one means something.
Before I start I need to say that my Dad is great and wonderful and I love him.

In the dream I was at a camp that I used to go to, I was happiest there. I think my family was there but only Dad and one of my sisters were in the dream. Anyways, there was a party of some sort. When there, I did something wrong, not on purpose though. My Dad gets angry and starts ranting about how I don't do anything right.
Later we are outside and all of sudden there is a stampede of horses out of nowhere. I see a clear path to a building and I suggest going there but when Dad looks, the path isn't clear. Again he gets angry and says that I am foolish.
We are back at the party and because it is crowed, I am slow to get to my spot. Dad gets angry again.
After the party Dad says how I am useless and can't do anything right. He then says that he is going to kill me. I plead for him not to but he does.

Dreams quite often display those things that we are going through on a daily basis. Many times such dreams are because of our frustrations with ourselves, our own situations or our perceived thoughts about ourselves and our abilities. From my conversations with you I is my opinion that this is not about your Dad but rather about you and your situation. You are who God has made, He made you as you are for a purpose and even though we may never know what that purpose is I am positive that His will for you is being fullfilled.

I think I understand. I do feel like what Dad in the dream said sometimes. Maybe Dad represents how I think God sees me. Camp represents heaven. Being killed represents myself thinking that God doesn't want me.

I have no issues with my Dad

Good Morning Brother David and All!

David, I think it's probably closer to what Pastor Roger told you.

There would be many examples, but I know that many nightmares are caused by traumatic events that people have gone through. Examples:  combat, car accidents, shootings, other violent acts, etc. Some bad dreams might be the result of watching a television show or a movie. Many dreams are also just random and bear no resemblance to reality. For Christians, I think it's always a good thing to pray before trying to go to sleep. We already have Eternal Peace with GOD through JESUS CHRIST, but we are still in this short life and have frequent struggles. There is nothing wrong at all about asking GOD for a peaceful rest. In fact, everything is Right about praying before going to bed.

Love In Christ,
Tom

read again, I know it isn't God. It was what my mind thinks

I do think that you are getting the right idea. Brother, we have God's promises to us that He will not leave nor forsake us.

Luk 12:6  Are not five sparrows sold for two assaria? And not one of them is forgotten before God.
Luk 12:7  But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Therefore do not fear, you are of more value than many sparrows.

Joh 14:27  Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

thank you brothers.
I have to keep remembering that God loves me no matter what and I'll always be his.

AMEN BROTHER DAVID!

Brother David, it's really even more than that:

John 10:28-30
And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one.

Love In Christ,
Tom
