But Brother Love... if you leave this could just turn into another forum for avemarie. Surely you won't give up so easily?    Unless, unless..... no! Say it isn't so! You're not leaving to become catholicized, are you?

I thank you both and I will miss both of you. I love Brother Ray and Tom, but I do NOT agree with them on the subject of the Roman catholic religion. Its time for me to move on.

Better re-read ave's responses to you. If you're not ROMAN catholic, then you probably are not saved (according to her)!

I’ve been meaning to ask her of her thought on the other rites. Ihaven't had a chance to PM her. According to the current Catechism and the writting of the early church, and most importantly, the Bible, the Church referrers to the Church world wide. Did they write to the church of Rome or the Church of Jerusalem? No, they wrote to the church AT Rome, the Church AT Jerusalem. Guess what everyone, WE are the Church. The Church isn’t a word for every little independent Charismatic Baptist "bible" group, it is for the mass collection of Christians world wide. And that is what the Catechism clearly states.
