Huh  This is a brave new experience so someone throw me a life jacket. I am seeking fellowship and some conversation. If you see me sinking please send out the boat.

Thanks

Hi Chara,

Welcome to Christians Unite forums. We have removed the light switches so the lights are always on here.  Wink Cheesy Cheesy  There are plenty of life jackets to go around so just grab onto one or even two. It looks like you are doing fine so far but if you have problems figuring things out just give us all a holler.

Thanks to all who replied hope I can figure out how to talk with you.
I am involved with a local jail ministry with a couple of gals from my church and we are finding our way in the dark so to speak. The local staff are mixed bunch some enjoy us coming and others would like to kick us out. The women we minister to are a tough bunch and repeaters for the most part. Alot of drug use and they are so young to be saddled with children, live ins, drugs, how to reach them is a constant problem. We are having problems with one of the women who has "company" like demonic and it is very clear that her or its intent is to break down the instruction and helps.
One of the gals who is one of us is under extreme attack at her home and in her health. She is aware of the demonic arena but we none of us are too sure what to do about it. Prayer is the start I know.
Again thanks for your contact hope to hear from you and others.

Hello Chara,

We will be praying for you. In the meantime, I suggest full-strength GOD'S WORD read directly out of the Bible. Pick out some portions that deal with Salvation, and know this is still the most powerful message in the world. We already have GOD'S Promise that it won't return void. It will accomplish HIS Purpose according to HIS Perfect Will. I also firmly believe that starting out with a prayer with them always helps.

I think that many of the problems with the staff of the facility will work out if you carefully follow their rules and try to never enable a security risk. This is many times a big concern until the staff knows that you and your volunteers are going to use good common sense and not get anyone hurt, including yourselves.

Love In Christ,
Tom

Could someone please tell me what "I'm a llama!" means?  Is it from the movie, "The Emporor's New Groove"?

And welcome to you sister!  I hope you have fun on here!  We do!

Hello GrammyLuv,

I'm sorry that I missed your question about the llama. I think that's one of those funny looking animals from Peru that has a body shape like a small giraffe. However, it has a shorter neck and much longer hair. They make fairly good domestic animals, and you can make considerable profit by shearing and selling their hair. I'm going to call some friends in Peru to see if I gave a good answer.   Grin

(Small Print:  I'll guess that I answered the wrong question. I think it's just for fun.)
