Back in the 1960s, with the folk mass liturgies, there was a song called "Hear Oh Lord, The Sound of my Call."  This was the first line. Then it proceeds....Hear Oh Lord and Have Mercy. My Soul is Longing for the Glory of You. Hear, Oh Lord, and Answer Me.
Does anyone know the rest of the song lyrics or can anyone tell me how or where to find a copy of the music?  Thanks a bunch!

Hello Angelofsong,

WELCOME!

I sincerely hope that you enjoy Christians Unite.

Reference your question, I think the best advice you will be able to find is to go to Google and do an advanced search with the first line of the song as a Phrase with quotes around it. Other than this, I wouldn't have a clue what you could try.

Love In Christ,
Tom

Ephesians 1:18-23 NASB I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.

Hi, that was my favorite church folk song.  The good news is, I played it for years and can tell you that Ray Repp wrote it and currently has it and many other song's you'll recognize on CD.
