IN THE BEGINNING GOD!

My favorite scripture is 2 Corinthians 5: 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. (This helps me not live in the past.)
I do allot of hobbies and would to have a small business someday.
I some day would like to share my testimony. Then use my past experiences to possibly help others.
I do not like to argue with anyone, but I do enjoy good discussions. My favorites are Evolution VS Creationism, End Times, and the Rapture.

Dear Rec,
I like that verse too.  I can't explain why, though.  It just makes me feel better somehow.  What sort of hobbies do you do?  I do beadwork and crochet.  I'm not too interested in evolution vs. creationism (God created everything and it doesn't matter how or when) but I am interested in the end times because it's the only part of the Bible that hasn't happened yet.  Have a terrific day!

Beloved Father God,
Help me befriend those who are lonely,
Help me comfort those who are hurting,
Help me do battle against the darkness,
And help me lead the way to You.
In Jesus' name, amen.

Ok I guess you only like to discuss...if you had also included politics in there then I guess I would have had to call you a liar...cause no one can talk about all of those and not end up arguing Wink

Welcome to the forums.  I am sure that you will find lots of good discussion on those topics throughout the forums and lot of good online fellowship and genuine love of God.

Welcome to the forums. My favorite verse is Romans 8:28 since it reminds me that no matter what life throws my way, everything is in God's control.

Hello rec,

Welcome to Christians Unite forums. There are many wonderful Christians here and plenty of fellowship in the Lord to go around. There's an area here that is set aside just for testimonies and I look forward to reading yours. As Brother Jerry said there are plenty of threads on the subjects you mentioned. Please feel free to join in on any of them. As for arguing on Creation vs evolution that is no problem here. The support of evolution is not permitted so there would be no arguing on it. God's word tells us that He created all there is so that is the only thing allowed to discuss.

Hello Rec,

WELCOME!

We're happy to have you with us, and I sincerely hope that you enjoy Christians Unite. Jump in and have some fun.

Love In Christ,
Tom

Ephesians 1:18-23 NASB I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.

Welcome to the forum. My hobbies are woodburning and jewelry making and needlecraft. As everyone above has already told you there are lots of topics within the forum for you to add posts. Also if you explore a bit you will find Bible study aids and a bunch of other interesting things to do in the navigation panel on the left side of page. I look forward to reading your posts.  Smiley
