II Timothy 2:15 says, "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."

Bible study will get rid of a lot of isms that are contrary to the Word of God.  It will also give you the personal assurance of your eternal security in Christ, spiritual maturity if applied, and a closer walk with the Lord.  May God give us all a desire to study His word and apply it to our hearts and lives.

There is book also , that most don't know about and it compliments 2 Tim 2:15 .   It is the book of Phil 1:10 , and a literal translation is  ; In order for you to  TEST the things that are DIFFERING , in order that you may be PURE and BLAMELESS for the Day of Christ .

The Greek word for  DIFFERING is DIAPHERO , meaning  , to carry different ways , to be different from , to differ .  Our responsibility is to " TEST " and Examine them and to put them in there proper place and Dispensation .
