I looked on Oprah's website and with a little searching, I did indeed find all that is said below to be true. This is one of the most dangerous things for our country and even the world because of her vast following and influence. If you are a believer of the God of the Bible, you really need to read the following.

Many of you, like me, have probably been Oprah fans for years. This is discouraging news to hear about one who has such a tremendous influence on the general public. Please ask God to show Oprah the real Jesus Christ.

"Opah and Friends" teaching course on New Age Christ
Jesus Christ being reinvented, redefined, and blasphemed and, this false New-Age Christ teaching is about to make huge inroads into the world, with the help of the queen of television talk shows, Oprah Winfrey.
Opah Winfrey, began on January 1, 2008, on her daily radio program offering a year long course on the New Age Christ, in a lesson a day and completely covering the 365 lessons from the Course in Miracles "Workbook."
Listeners will be encouraged to buy A Course In miracles for the year-long course. An audio version, recited by Richard (John Boy Walton) Thomas, will be available on compact disk.
Those who finish the Course will have a wholly redefined spiritual mindset--a New-Age worldview that includes the beliefs that there is No Sin, No Evil, No Devil. A course in Miracles teaches its students to rethink everything they believe about God and life and it bluntly states: This is a course in "mind training" and it is dedicated to "thought reversal" or in other words (brainwashing).

The Course in Miracles in reality is the truth of the Bible turned up side down.

Oprah told her television audience that Williamson's book, A course in Miracles was one of her favorite books, and that she had already bought a thosand copies and would be handing them out to everyone in her studio audience. Oprah's endorsement skyrocked Williamson's book to the top of the New York Times bestseller list.

A Course in Miracles is allegedly a "new revelation" from "Jesus" to help humanity work through these troubled times. This "Jesus"---who bears no doctrinal resemblance to the Bible's Jesus Christ---began delivering channeled teaching in 1965 to a Columbia University Professor of Medical Psychology, Helen Schucman.

One day Schucman heard an "inner voice" stating, "This is a course in miracles. Please take notes. "For seven years she diligently took spiritual dictation from this voice that described himself as "Jesus."  Here are some quotes from the "Jesus" voice of A Course in Miracles.


"There is no sin"
"A slain Christ has no meaning"
"The journey to the cross should be the last 'useless journey."
"Do not make the pathetic error of clinging to the old rugged cross"
"The name of Jesus Christ as such is but a symbol...It is a symbol that is safely used as a replacement for the many names of all the gods to which you pray."
"The recognition of God is the recognition of yourself."
"The Atonement is the final lesson he (man) need learn, for it teaches him that, never having sinned, he has no need of salvation."

Popular author Wayne Dyer told his PBS television audience that the "brilliant writing" of A Course in Miracles would produce peace in the world.
The Course in Miracles--based book, Forgiveness, continues to be sold in Robert Schuller's Crystal Cathedral bookstore. And Schuller gave a "Rethink Conference" in January 2008.

It's not surprising at all that Opah Winfrey is supporting Barak Obama.

It's really sad because the rich and famous could do so much good, but instead they have already recieved their reward and are taking many down with them.

Hello Islandboy,

Sister, I've read several short articles about this, and the details just make it worse. It's hard to imagine that any church or self-proclaimed preacher would push anything so vile as this. We already know that this is a time where a lost and dying world is desperate for the TRUTH about JESUS CHRIST because HE is the only one with answers.

Instead, the hosts in need will get baloney that will deceive many of them and simply add to their misery. This New Age garbage really amounts to teaching people to worship themselves. This is humanism at it's worst, and it won't help anyone but the devil. AND, this is definitely blasphemy! Many will be in great error by thinking garbage like this is harmless.

After reading the many articles on this subject I had an interesting thought. The antichrist is said to have world-wide appeal. That people will flock to him or her in droves, that his or her intentions would appear on the surface to be well-intended. What if we are thinking in terms of a leader in the form of a president who someday is the antichrist, when in fact it could be someone such as this who is already here and influencing many people all over the world.       This is just a random thought.
