THE VISIT

               Today I had a visit
               From someone who's My own
               He came in peace and gratitude
               He didn't come to moan
               A precious space he found for Me
               To come into his life
               I was so thrilled he wanted Me
               To help him with his strife.

               Till now he's been a Christian
               Who's teetered round the edge
               The devil has kept him away
               Around him, built a hedge
               But man is longing to commune
               With Me, The God of all
               And while he's busy in the world
               He cannot hear Me call.

               So lay down all your worldly ways
               And come to Me your rock
               Please concentrate upon My word
               So you may boost your stock
               For when the wind of satan blows
               Your roots will be so deep
               Together we will fight him off
               Our destiny we'll keep.
