thank you. I don't know how to give her proof.
Kenneth copeland bothers me because he suggests that lack of faith is the reason for disabilities. Also I read he believes Jesus was in hell for 3 days but that is wrong.
Hello Brother David,
Trying to equate disabilities and other negative things with a lack of faith is about as ignorant as one can get. Problems of all kinds and the curse of sin and death is part of our inheritance from Adam. If one used this line of reasoning, the same would be true for all kinds of illnesses, things as simple as needing glasses and hearing aids, and eventual physical death. The last time I checked, we all physically die sooner or later, and we will ALL eventually have a variety of illnesses and disabilities related to those illnesses. The last time I heard something ridiculous like this, the person making the statement was wearing glasses. One could easily put two and two together and conclude that this person was full of HOT AIR.
What are these idiots going to tell folks when they get sick or become disabled? AND, they most certainly WILL!It's very sad that many self-proclaimed preachers equate illness and disability with faith for all kinds of con games to get money rolling in. I must add that some of the con games are ridiculous beyond belief, but people keep being deceived and send them money. What makes me angry is that many of the victims do without necessities to send this money. On the other end is a person living a lavish lifestyle with the money many people needed for food, medical care, prescriptions, and other absolute necessities. I don't have a problem with sacrificing for the LORD or the LORD'S Work, but I do have a problem with sacrificing for a fat cat living in several mansions, driving several obscenely expensive cars, and living like an Oil Tycoon from the money of poor people.
