Just wanted to say hi.  I'm married and I have four kids and so far I like what I have seen here.  Anyway I pray God will use me to be a blessing to someone.

Thank you all for such a warm welcome.  What a change from other boards that I have been in.

May I ask question?  This is in NO WAY trying to cause trouble.  I was an administrator of another board and I was posting bible reading schedule for the year.  I did two different schedule one was starting in Genesis and reading through to Revelation.  The other one was reading Two Old Testament (Starting in Genesis) One Psalms and then One New Testament (Starting in Matthew) they scraped this second one because they didn't like it and said we should ONLY read from cover to cover.  When I told them I didn't see anything wrong with it and was hurt they would scrap it because I was posting two different ones for people they demoted me (please understand I did not argue in anyway at all, the pm I got said they figured I would just leave and when I didn't they demoted me.  Oh the other adminstrators didn't see anything wrong with what I was posting or my responses but they also didn't stick up for me either.

Right now I'm so very hurt I had been with these boards a long long time.

Anyway probably should vent but I just did.  Thanks for your insight.

Hi Precious2God,

I'm sorry but I don't understand what your question is.

I do agree that a good Bible study does involve thorough reading and research throughout the entire Bible and that Genesis is a good place to start but I also agree that it is not the only way to study a Bible. If you look around here on the forum I am positive that you will find many wonderful Bible studies that start out in various places throughout scripture.

I couldn't say if you were wrong or not as I don't know the circumstances nor all the details involved. I really wouldn't want to get involved in any problems that might be on another forum either. The rules here are pretty simple, straight forward and well posted so if you are concerned about such a problem on this forum it would be a simple matter of just reading them and sticking to them. The moderators here are all pretty easy to get along with, too. (Me included.  Wink  Cheesy   )

Hello Precious2God,

Frankly, I don't understand the reasoning for what was done. Cover to cover of the Holy Bible is profitable for study. The only issue I could see would be twisting of any area of the Bible for the purpose of false teaching or to advance some cult. Other than something like this or the obvious, there shouldn't be any issue.

Love In Christ,
Tom

Thanks be unto God for His unspeakable GIFT, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour Forever!
