Philippians 1:21 says, "For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain."  If I die, my soul goes to be with the Lord Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior.  If I live, my life is given to Him who according to Philippians 1:6, "Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you, shall perform it until the day of Jesus Christ."  Christ will perform His good works through me as I long I have breath.  I would rather be with Christ, but I will live to His glory the best I can in this frail, weakly body of human flesh.  Amen!

AMEN BROTHER PHILLIP!

This should be the goal and core of every Christian's short time here. I love the way that the Apostle Paul describes our already defined purpose:  run a good race, fight a good fight, finish our course, and hopefully one day hear, "Well done, good and faithful servant." We should all be thinking about what is our reasonable service in Love for the one who purchased our freedom from the curse of sin and death on the CROSS.

2 Timothy 4:5-8 NASB
But you, be sober in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry. For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure has come. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith; in the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.

Revelation 21:1-6 NASB
Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea. And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them, and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away."
