A very happy and blessed new year to you all.  On this first day we turn our thoughts to resolutions.  I will be more determined to do what is right than ever before.  Many try to keep thi one.  It's may work for a while but slowly but surely we get back into our usual rut.  Some resolutions we will keep fairly well.  I have made many in the past.  Kept them for a while and then, well you can guess the rest.  Here is what Oscar Wilde said'

"Good resolutions are simply cheques that men draw on a bank where they have no account"

One resolution I am now determined to keep is to make as many regular postings as possible to this excellent forum.  I can and I will because this forum like most forums is so friendly.

Thank you for that interesting comment!  I don't even bother with resolutions any more, because I know I will forget them in a few weeks.  But every day I pray: Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in Thy sight, O Lord.

With this prayer and the Lord's guidance, I feel  I am at least on the right path.
