I've been a Christian many years
            And always said my prayers
I know that I've asked Jesus in
            And given Him my cares
I'm going by the things I love
            Traditional and old
But now I hear that it's not right
How dare they be so bold.

I'm happy as I am, you see
I'm good and go to church
            It hurts to see irreverence
            Quite painful from my perch
My past is gone and I'm content
To strive to earn my call
            But why is everybody else
            Having such a ball.

That vicar keeps on telling me
            That I must be refreshed
            Coming daily to The Lord
            It's making me depressed
            But there is something missing
            I wonder what it is
Oh never mind, no need to fret
            Ignorance is bliss.
