I read this site that this translation is very bad because verses are missing or changed. http://www.jesus-is-savior.com/Bible/NLT/nlt_exposed.htm

Is it true? I really thought it was good  Cry

Quite honestly David the only thing I can say is that we really do not get into translations.  Too often it can create problems and arguments that are not needed.

And that comes from a situation in which people begin to idolize their translation.  I am not going to deny that there are problems with other translations out there.  The important thing to remember is always if what you are reading glorifies God.  Talk to your pastor and ask them.  Or others that are more learned.  But here on the forums we are not going to get into discussions with what translation is best or anything of that nature.
