YOUR AMAZING GRACE

You’re the one that’s always there
Watching me from up above
Gently guiding me with care
Filling me with Your sweet love.

Without You I am nothing
I slide down and have less and less
With You I have everything
For You provide the best!

The wonder of You makes my head spin
Your amazing grace has no compare
I look to You again and again
For You, may I always have time to spare.

You brought me out of the miry pit
And remolded me Your way
Little by little and bit by bit
You changed me, like a potter with his clay.

You love me like no other could
And taught me how to trust You
You picked me up when no one would
And said, “Do you know how much I love you?”

“I sent my one and only Son
To show how much I care
And when all is said and done
You’ll come home and I’ll be there

My arms I’ll open wide
Your tears I will dry
You’ll come and sit by my side

Thank you very much Tigerlily!  Writing poetry is a gift that God only recently gave to me.  The past 4 years or so.  I certainly couldn't do it in high school when the assignment was given!   
When I came back to the Lord in 02' I felt drawn to write a Poem To The Lord with was the original title of "Amazing Grace".  Since then when a couple of lines pop into my head, I sit down and start writing.  Before I know it I've got this long poem written!  As I read them over, I'm like, "Wow, where did THAT come from?"  That's how I know that God gives them to me, even though most are from what I might be feeling or going through at the time.
Thanks again!  I'm glad that you enjoy them!
