Homosexuals Mock 'Last Supper'

Organizers of San Francisco's Folsom Street Fair -- sponsored by Miller Brewing Co. -- have portrayed Christ and his disciples as half-naked homosexual sadomasochists in the event's promotional advertisement, and the conservative group Concerned Women for America is complaining about the hypocrisy of it.

"The bread and wine representing Christ's broken body and lifegiving blood are replaced with sadomasochistic sex toys in this twisted version of Da Vinci's The Last Supper," CWA said on its Web site.

"'Gay' activists disingenuously call Christians 'haters' and 'homophobes' for honoring the Bible, but then lash out in this hateful manner toward the very people they accuse," said said Matt Barber, CWA's policy director for cultural issues.

"In their version of The Last Supper, Christ, Who gave His life for our sins, is despicably replaced by sin itself as the object of worship."

CWA is calling on California politicians -- House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sens. Feinstein and Boxer among them -- to "publicly condemn this unprovoked attack against Christ and His followers.

"We further challenge the media to cover this affront to Christianity with the same vigor as recent stories about cartoon depictions of Mohammed and other items offensive to the Muslim community," CWA said.

The Folsom Street Fair describes itself as "the world's largest leather event."

"We hope to see the fairgrounds filled with people in their most outrageous leather/rubber/fetish attire enjoying the worlds largest and best loved Leather fair," the Web site says.

Concerned Women for America called it "shocking and offensive" that California taxpayers are forced to foot part of the bill for the Folsom Street Fair. The City of San Francisco sanctions the event by shutting down several city blocks and providing police for security.

The Folsom Street Fair Web site says young people are welcome: "While we don't have any age restrictions at the gates we do inform attendees of the adult oriented nature of our events." The fair organizers say beer and liquor age restrictions are strictly enforced.

Of course the media won't cover this like it did the Mohammed cartoons.

Of course not.  They could never do anything like that...it would make homosexuals look bad, and raise sympathy for Christians...the the media cannot have that.

It would also put muslims in a bad light when it was reported that Christians didn't riot and kill over it.

But you know what.  I emailed Sean Hannity with the jist of the story and asked him as a Christian why does he not take the forefront and bring this news to the public in the larger media outlet.

Can't hurt.

I saw this outrageous news clip on Fox News. I consider things like this to be signs of the END of this Age of Grace. This is filthy blasphemy of the worst kind, and I doubt that ALMIGHTY GOD will withhold HIS Righteous Wrath for long.

A decent and civilized society wouldn't tolerate something like this. Not only is this society tolerating it, they're supporting it and spending public funds for it to take place. Many filthy and disgusting acts will take place in public under the guise of freedom of speech. It wasn't long ago that many of these same acts were against the law and would have resulted in immediate trips to JAIL. This isn't freedom of speech, rather a SIGN OF THE END!

I agree totally. It is not freedom of speech when such things as this are allowed yet people are not permitted to speak of Jesus in public. It is definitely degradation of the worse kind and definitely a sign of the end.

Yes it is blasphemy brother, it is also a hate crime against Christ, and Christians. But will California proscute them, for there hate crimes?? Some how I don't think so, as Brother Jerry said....

It saddens me to no end to see this.  The attack on Christians and our Saviour is happening more and more on a daily basis. I will pray for all those lost and pray that all those who tolerate this repulsive filth that they find Christ before it is too late. If you or I would write or speak one word against the homosexuals like that we would be sued and arrested. May Jesus come quickly and save us from the wickedness that is everywhere. Thank God for the blood of Christ and my redemption..

I look for things to get worse, before Jesus comes. We are told to be ready, for in the blink of an eye we will go to our real home.

Amen Dreamweaver!

All Christians should know that things are going to get much worse. We've only seen the beginning. I really don't know how much Christians will see before JESUS catches us up to meet HIM in the air. I'll simply say that I joyfully anticipate that time and will Love HIS Appearing. Right NOW! would be wonderful!

This brings up an important question for all of us to answer:  What do we want to be doing in the days or weeks before HE comes? I'll just say that I hope and pray that it brings Glory to HIM.

Love In Christ,
Tom

Pelosi won't condemn
'gay' slur of Last Supper
'As a Catholic, the speaker is confident
that Christianity has not been harmed'

Asked to respond to a San Francisco "gay"-festival's promo mocking the Last Supper of Jesus Christ, the chief spokesman for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi offered a dismissive quip.

"As a Catholic, the speaker is confident that Christianity has not been harmed," said Drew Hammill, the San Francisco Democrat's press secretary.

WND reported earlier this week the Last Supper poster promoting the Folsom Street Fair replaces the bread and wine with sex toys and depicts Jesus Christ and his disciples as "half-naked homosexual sadomasochists."

Scheduled for Sunday, the annual sadomasochistic "leather event" features public displays of nudity and sexual acts.

After the ad was exposed by the Christian group Concern Women for America, the Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights pressed the Miller Brewing Co. to remove its logo from the poster. With the logo still in place despite a promise from Miller, along with the beer giant's continued sponsorship, the Catholic group is calling for a boycott of the company.

CWA noted Pelosi, a major supporter of homosexual activism, will receive an award Oct. 6 from the "gay rights" group Human Rights Campaign.

CWA has asked California's elected officials – including Pelosi, Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sens. Dianne Feinstein and Barbara Boxer – to "publicly condemn this unprovoked attack against Christ and His followers."

Matt Barber, CWA's policy director for cultural issues, said his organization has "photographic evidence the San Francisco government suspends indecency and child abuse laws for a day allowing fair goers to parade the streets of San Francisco, fully nude, engaging in illegal public sex while taxpayer funded police stand-by and do nothing."

Barber pointed out children have attend the event, exposing them to "this activity which is illegal child abuse."

"We're a nation of laws, and we're calling on Mayor Gavin Newsom to enforce the law and for San Francisco police to arrest lawbreakers on Sunday," he said.

The festival boasts that it draws about 400,000 people each year from around the world. It describes its mission as organizing "world-class volunteer driven leather events, providing the adult alternative lifestyle community safe venues for self-expression, emphasizing freedom, fun and frolic, while raising money to benefit San Francisco charities."

Catholic League president Bill Donohue said he sent all 11 members of Miller's Executive Committee a "sample of the kinds of sick behaviors S&M Miller is sponsoring."

His accompanying memo says in part:

It is hard to believe that if you knew exactly what kind of event the Folsom Street Fair is that you would want Miller to be sponsoring it. That is why I am sending the enclosed photos of this event (taken from previous years) to you.

In the outside chance you are not disturbed by these photos, please show them to your mother, wife and daughters.

I trust that you will do the right thing and withdraw sponsorship of this event immediately. Rest assured that we will not walk away from this issue. The public is rallying to our side, emboldening us to stay in this fight for as long as it takes.

Donohue told the Miller executives his group sent a letter yesterday to more than 200 religious organizations asking them to join the boycott.

He said if Miller does not pull its sponsorship, "we will announce a game plan on Monday that will make the company regret it ever decided to insult Christians."

The Catholic League also is protesting the fair's support of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, a homosexual group describing itself as "21st century nuns for the queer" that mocks Catholicism.

The "Sisters' planned a "Last Supper" last night in preparation for the San Francisco fair:

"There is no better way to prepare your mortal flesh for the kinkiest weekend on Earth than to nourish your bones and boost your spirit with a divine feast: The Last Supper With The Sisters, at Eureka Restaurant ... "

God is truly gracious if He's allowed things to get to this point with no immediate judgment. How broken-hearted He must be over such mockery. I am at a point of saturation that I don't think I can even be shocked. These individuals are free to do these things now and feel "pride" about it but I fear for them when they one day stand before God. How lost these people are, Sodom and Gomorrah..........

Pelosi and friends will not be able to dismiss this blasphemy. It's not going to go away! The first thing that I would hope to happen is that every decent person in the country avoid this city like a plague! Don't spend a penny on anything remotely associated with this city. Further, any citizen wronged or hurt in any way because of this filthy event should file suit against the city. It's also ridiculous to assume that the city can suspend any portion of criminal law to accommodate this event. Every citizen seeing a violation of criminal law should demand their rights to file criminal charges. If the act fits the charge, the city has no choice but to file it and prosecute. It's time for the decent citizens in San Francisco to exercise their rights and file charges. Charges should be filed on every violation of the law. Video should be taken and multiple citizens should be willing to serve as witnesses on every criminal charge filed. The city has no choice. Citizens have a right to make a Citizens' Arrest and demand that a criminal matter be brought before the appropriate court. An army of decent people need to show up and flood the courts will completely PROPER criminal complaints. This would not be difficult to organize in a legal manner and carry out in a way that the violations would be addressed, regardless of what the weirdo leadership wants or doesn't want. All it would take is some organization, determination, and common sense. If one level of the justice system won't act, the next level up will.

I don't drink, but I think that every person with any decency needs to permanently boycott Miller Brewing Company and anything associated with this company. They knew what they were doing, so I really don't care what they do at this point. They need to be run out of business. It's time for armies of decent people to JUST SAY NO!

And what is just as sad is that there are people out there living that sort of a lifestyle that believe that it is not an abomination before God.  You have to look at this and honestly go how in any sort of way can you consider this morally, naturally, or any other way, good and "godly"
