Does anyone know how to check a browser for bugs? Such as crashing when I try to make replies (though it doesn't happen here)

Well, first I used Konqueror and had no problems. But apparently there had been an upgrade of some kind, and that left me with a bug. They suggested I use Mozilla. Did that, used it, had no praoblems with that whatsoever. Got in this debate about absolute truth, and right in the thick of it, a new problem develops: every time I try to reply, this browser starts crashing, too. I did not have any problems at all with this before. So then I try Opera. No problems whatsoever. (This, by the way, is all at the same website.) Opera works great. Then, the other night I went to post, and not only did the browser crash, but it logged me right out! Altogether! Today it was working okay, except when I tried to preview my post. It will not let me preview although it did before.

Hmmm, you might copy the above as an email to KimKomando, at http://www.komando.com/index.asp.  Or even call her on her radio show.  This sounds like a good, meaty type question she would answer.

I'm clueless.   Tongue

Okay! Check this action. So I'm at the site, right, and the next time I post, I get transfered out of the site to the ITT tech home page. Where do I get the impression someone's having fun with me? Looks like the Thanksgiving turkey decided to make an early appearance this year!  Roll Eyes

It sounds like you may have a virus thingy, Whitehorse?

This sounds like some of the calls I've heard on Komando's show.   Not sure...

mmmhmmm. Virus indeedy. But see, every day there are changes. One day it will wipe off my entire desktop. Other days it will not let me edit. Other days it will crash the browser. One two, three, the browsers are infected. And then I get an auto transfer to a computer tech school. I think I have a stinkin' Trojan Horse, and someone is having much fun with me at the tomato-and-egg site, which I now affectionately call, The Spiritual Soup Kitchen. Kitchen for short.  Roll Eyes

Hmm.  I'm sorry about this, WH.  I wouldn't like any of this at all.  Plus, I just use this keyboard.  Beyond that.... Undecided

But, like I say, it might be worth an emial to Kimmy...  with what you've indicated here...(plus, if you call her during her program, and get on, now through Christmas you get automatic free gift... Smiley)
