Wishing you the joys of Thanksgiving

A Thanksgiving Message

America and her people have a great deal to be thankful for this year.

God has blessed this nation and given it some strong moral leaders. President Bush continues to demonstrate principled leadership in the war against terrorism and in creating a government which serves all citizens and treats them fairly.

I believe this will be the year in which the institution of marriage will be under great attack. I am thankful that so many churches and citizens are rising up to counter this threat to this most sacred of institutions.

And finally, I am thankful for my family - my wife Beverly and my children and grandchildren…the most recent being Daniel Ethan Rex Lafferty. I thank God everyday for delivering each one of them into my life.
