Which Internet Browser do you use most of the time and why? If you voted "Other", please tell us which browser you use.

It would also be nice if you listed some reasons for your selection. Examples: speed, ease of use, functions, privacy, security, etc.

I like Firefox for it's ease of use, stability, security, speed, availability of add-ons and it's free, too.

Since I've started using it I haven't had the problems that I did with other browsers.

I've been using Firefox almost since it came out. It's much faster for me, and I've had a slow dial-up connection, so speed was a major issue.

I also got used to a huge number of choices in themes to change the appearance of the browser and add-on extensions to enable additional functions. As far as I know, no other browser offers SO MUCH, and it's all FREE. It's also my opinion that Firefox offers more privacy and security related features than the competition. Finally, Firefox is continually improved, and more themes and extensions become available on a regular basis. It has consistently received a top or near top rating by all of the major reviewers for a lengthy period of time. In fact, it's been listed as #1 by most reviewers for over a year. It's still listed as #1 when compared to the new Internet Explorer 7.

Had to say IE6 even though I use both IE as well as Firefox.
I use FF on my laptop for work and that is what I primarily use.  But at home since it is the family computer and the family is used to IE that is what is used.  I do not even have FF installed at home because I do not like to clutter things up with 2 programs for the same purpose and such.

FF has gotten alot better about compatibility but there are still some things out there that FF has problems with so I have to keep IE around just for those.

Brother Bob,

Slow dial-up was one of the main reasons why I looked for ways to speed things up, and Firefox was one of the main answers. NOW, I'm down to just a couple of days left on dial-up. I'll go with wireless Internet on Monday, and I'm really looking forward to it. It won't be as fast as what many people have, but it will be many times faster than what I've had. I've gotten used to the many additional features of Firefox, and I plan to keep it.
